"Hey Kirito." Sinon's bright eyes looked into his onyx orbs.

Kirito was fidgeting with his phone as he often does. "Hm?"

"Would you like to go get coffee sometime, just to catch up?" Sinon's eyes were filled with anticipation.

"Of course! I'll text you." Kirito then asked for her number.

"Why are you in a cooking class?" Kirito was bewildered. "You don't seem like the type."

"I'm not the type actually." Sinon laughed at his statement. "I live alone, I can't live off of canned meals and fast food. I'll get fat."

Kirito zoned out of reality, just for a split sending to imagine a bigger Sinon. "Yeah. You're right."

A small orange kitten jumped onto Sinon's lap. "Awe." Her hands stroked the kitten making it purr.

"I wonder what its name is? Look at its tag." Kirito seemed very intrigued to know something so simple.

"Peaches. Also, it is a she." Sinon fakes being offended for the purring kitten.

"Okay. She."

"Back to our conversation, why are you going to college anyways? You've known advanced technology for as long as I can remember!" She was right.

"Well. Since my coma, I fell back two years. Some people are ahead of me." He explained his position. "Technology changes daily. Also, to work for a big shot company, I have to get a degree to prove my knowledge."

"Ah, that's very true." Sinon sipped her coffee.

"How are you doing?" Kirito seemed genuinely concerned for his friend. He hadn't seen her in a long time.

"I've been good actually. Um." Her hands seemed to shake a little. "I'm more comfortable on my own and around police officers."

"Hey I'm always here if you need to talk. Ya know?" He always reassured her he's not going anywhere.

In the distance, Asuna was taking a stroll to enjoy the last of fall before snow took over. The strawberry blonde recognizes her roommate and partner instantaneously.

Seeing them together made something inside her stomach drop and her cheeks boil. She was angry, maybe a little jealous. Not that she would admit it to either of them.

It took all of her strength not to go inside just to take a peek.

Little did she know, Kirito saw her standing there. He gave her a small wink and went on with his conversation with the dark haired, Sinon.

A date? A date. Asuna doesn't understand why she feels the way she does. She continued on her stroll leaving her roommate and partner alone.

Hopefully this feeling will fade. She thought to herself.
