Chapter 7: Best Night ❤️

"Miss Veronica and Mr. Nathan from group 13 please report to the office"

Says the host. As we walk to the office I see Riah smiling at me and I smile back. I didn't know she was meant to come I thought. Nathan holds my hand again and looks at me with a warm smile. My stomach is full of butterflies, my cheeks are red and my body felt warmer. I smile back and we keep walking. "Youse need to get a pass and complete 3 activities otherwise your group will be out" says the host. "But we don't know about anything or anyone around here. Our group leader didn't talk about this" I exclaim. "It's okay Vero calm down" Nathan says. "Just give us the activities list, thank you" Nathan says to the host. The list was as follows:

1. Skate Dance

2. Longest Skater

3. Ice Hockey

4. Find the coin

5. Teaching skate

6. Duet skating

7. Decorating Skaters

8. Skating Race

"What? I am not even a good skater, just basics" I say annoyed. "Don't worry boo, you will be fine" he says. Oh my god he called me boo!! Does this mean he likes me? A thousands of questions were unanswered in my head. "I guess we have to choose 3 then" I say with a sigh. "Please do the honor" he says. " Umm Longest Skater, Decorating Skaters- and Duet Skating" Nathan says as he cuts me off. "Hmm alright" I reply. We give out forms and wait until the activities start. It was time for Longest Skater. Me and Nathan were both taking part. "Good luck girl" he says with a cheeky look. "Good luck to you, boy" I reply. It starts, there is about 30 people in the rink. I feel nervous as I hadn't skated for months! Nathan is good, like really good. 5 people already fell. I felt wobbly but I managed to get back. *Warrior by Havana Brown plays* Oh my god this is my jam! My face lights up and Nathan smiles at me. I start to blush again. There us only 10 people left. *We can make love by Somo plays* Nathan instantly looks at me. I try not making eye contact but I can't help it. We look at each other, it's like the song is taking over us and then I realise it was! I was about to Faaalll whoopsie I fell... 😳 I look over at Nathan chuckles and pokes his tongue out at me. Ohh LooL he fell too. We both started laughing hard. We got out of the rink. 2 people were still on. "You're a good skater" he says. "You're better" I say with a giggle. I went to the toilet. I come out but I don't see Nathan anywhere... I sit in the bleacher and wait. Someone taps me from the back. I turn and it was Nathan holding Star bucks ❤️❤️ "Thank you, I really needed this" I say with a smile. He sits REALLY close to me and I blush, we look at eachother and chuckle. I take a sip and it was Chai Latte, my favorite. "How did you know I loved Chai Latte" I ask. "Yesterday, I made it in the cafe. And saw your friends give it to you" he replies. "Yumm, yesterday's chai latte was actually better than this" I tell him. I was actually being honest Kay. "Aww Thank you ❤️" he says. I feel like we have gone so much closer. I have never been this close to someone who I have just met. It was time for the Decorating Skaters. "You good at arts?" Asks Nathan. " Umm I actually don't like arts. I mean I have never been interested in Visual Arts, but I do love Performing arts " I reply. "Ahaha Surprise me!" Nathan says. I didn't exactly know what he meant but I thinks he means, make a good one... :| It was so awkward. Me and Nathan were the only grown ups in the table rest were little kids. "Up for a surprise" Nathan looks at me confused. "Well me and you face different directions so we don't see, what we are doing at the end you show me yours and I will show you mine. And NO PEEKING! Deal? " I ask. I can tell he's still a little bit confused but oh well. "Deal" he replies with a wink. I decide to decorate the skaters with bow ties, beanies, latte basically about Nathan and at the bottom I wrote his name with Black. I see the host, I go upto him and ask can I buy this? He replies of course! It's $75 he says. I hand him the money and return to decorating after an hour, It finishes. We look at each other cheekily. "Ladies first" Nathan says. "Can we show it in 3 please? " I ask and he nods. 1...2...3... "Oh my god Vero! That is soooo amazing!" He says jawdropped! "Nathan that is ssoooo cute, you seriously have magic in your hands" I say. He drew a picture of me today, holding a coffee, the background was snow and crystals and signed his name off at the end. It looked so realistic 😍👏👏. As we both were admiring at the skaters, One of the staff Taps me in the back. "This is for you, it is yours you can keep it" she says. I look at Nathan, " Oh my god, Thank you so much ❤️ and that skater is a little gift for me to you, to remember this night " I say. "Vero, I don't need a skater to remember this day. This night will always be close to my heart because it is the best night" he says. We were so close to each other, looking at each other in the eyes and Nathan slowly wraps around my waist and comes closer... "Excuse me" a little voice says. We both snap out of it. Oh darn!! he was about to kiss me I think and blush. "Nathan is still holding my waist. It was time for the Duet skating. "Miss Veronica would you like to skate with me? Nathan asks. He's lips were so close to me I could feel his breath. I whisper "With Pleasure"
