I walk into homeroom just as the bell rings. I scan the class until I see Kyra.
Me and Kyra have the same homeroom and 1st period. I walk over to my desk which is right next to Kyras and sit down.
"Hey Hollis, its nice to see you. where have you been"?
"Hi, and I've been sick but I'm better now" i lied.
"Oh, well I'm glad your better me and the others have really missed you".
The reason i wasnt in school wasnt because I was sick. I came home late one day because I missed my bus and i got beaten to death by my new parents.
Before I could say anything else to kyra our teacher mrs. Jone walked in and took attendance.
I started to zone but luckily Kyras name was called and im right after her.
"Hollis."
"here."
"oh its nice to have you back! im sure Everyone here missed you". yeah I think to myself i bet they did.
I was out if it the whole class. i think mrs. jones noticed but she didnt say anything. finally the bell rang and next was 1st (choir) with Kyra and 2nd period (spanish) with sarah.
