2nd-4th period was okay. I got to see Sarah in 2nd (Spanish), and saw Kyra in 1st (choir). I'm in 5th now. I just finished my science paper as the bell rang for lunch.
I ran to my locker to get my books for 6th-7th period, and raced to get a seat in the cafeteria. when I arrive I can't find any of my friends.
I scan the crowds of people until one of the workers tell me to find a spot or leave. I decide to sit near the lunch line and find a spot that all of us will fit at.
By the time I get settled in and finished my lunch, it's 12:35. Lunch is over at 12:57. I was getting ready to leave when I spotted my friends sitting three tables ahead of me.
I try calling them but they don't seem to notice. They're busy laughing at Sarah (the funny one in our group).
I lock eyes with sarah and then she stops laughing. The group that was once loud has fallen silent. They're whispering and every now and then one of them looks up to were I'm sitting.
I start to feel on the verge of crying when I see Kyra start to stand up. I think she's coming over to me, but then I realize she was just picking the fork she dropped.
To my luck the lunch duty person sees I'm down and starts to walk over to me.
"Here we go again." I think to myself.
"Excuse me but you need to leave now." She waits for me to reply, but she then realizes she wont get one. This makes her ever more annoyed.
"Look either you leave right now or else you have lunch detention for a week."
I glance up at my friends and they are starting right at me.
"Do you have the authority to even do that?" I replied being the rare smart ass side of me.
"THATS IT, lunch detention for a whole week..."
I start to get up but she blocks me. I sigh and pack up my things. Right when I'm leaving the cafeteria she adds
"Oh and since you think your so smart go ahead and walk yourself down to the office."
"That's not even fair!" I start to protest but I shut my mouth, I know better then to argue.
"really, you want to argue with what's fair and not fair? You listen to me child, spend a week with me and you will be sorry!"
"I honestly doubt that." I say under my breath.
"Excuse me?" She hisses.
"Nothing, I guess I'll go to the office now." I say as I stand up.
"Yeah you better, I'm keeping my eye on you woods." How does she know my last name? I normally use my foster families last name. I shrug it off and answer her.
"yes ma'am." I reply as I roll my eyes. I throw my trash away and "report" to the office.
I turn the corner and look back to see if she's watching me. She's to busy scanning for her next victim. Nows my chance. I take a run for it.
I don't care what she says, she can say anything she wants but I'm NOT reporting to that office. I'm not getting beaten to death tonight.
I just got back to school, there's no way I can miss anymore days. People would start to catch on. I mean that's what always happens, and then once people start to notice what's going on I leave. I run, and never look back. I'm just hoping that nobody notices.
I make it to the gym and find a spot way up in the top
Corner were nobody will find me. At the spot I'm sitting at on the bleachers, there is a little gap between the wall and the bleacher.
