**Aurora's P.O.V **
It's been five days since we've been living in the Castellanos' home. They say it's not safe to go outside the town right now. Situations like war are looming over their heads. Everything is peaceful right now. But today, a sudden banging on the door has sounded. I never knew this knock will change my life.
Holly rushed to the door. So did the twins. I just looked at the door. Adelaide was still bathing.
"Honey, are you okay?" Holly's concerned voice pierced my ears. She bustled into view, supporting a man of her own age, I suppose her husband. The twins bustled in too, Adrian supporting a girl and Aaron suppoting a boy, both of our age. Adelaide walked in. Giving me a quizzical look.
Why does she ALWAYS enter at the wrong timing?
"What's going on here?" She asked me.
"I don't know." They had put the three people in a room.
We sat on the couch, waiting for someone to tell us what was happening. Aaron came into view, followed by Adrian.
Where's Holly?
They took a seat on opposite couch. A heavy silence hung in air.
"What was all that about?" Adelaide asked.
Aaron looked at Adrian and Adrian shook his head. "Mom will tell you." He said
We nodded, not wanting to insist them.
After what seemed like forever, Holly walked in, settled on a chair and let out an exasperated sigh.
"Um, Holly, I just wanted to know, what is going on?" Adelaide asks.
I know I'm not much of a speaker myself.
Holly's features looked unnaturally dull. "They're my husband and our brother's kids. I told you a war is looming on our head. We're actually rebels."
I doubt I heard it right. Rebels? I shook my head clearing my thoughts and said, "Cruel King?"
To my surprise, she shook her head, "It'd have been better if the king controlled our kingdom."
Now my jaw practically dropped.
"What?!" Me and Adelaide gasped at same time."What do you mean?" I asked her.
This time Adrian spoke, "Well, when the princesses were born, some weird circumstances were created. The king's sister killed king's wife and abandoned her young daughter. She ran away. War was looming overhead so the princesses were sent away from here, somewhere safe. The king, having lost his whole family in less than a year, went into severe depression. The council took advantage of this and ruled the kingdom by their own consent. Which is, may I add, is not having fortunate consequences for the people of Silvanus."
Why did this story felt familiar to me?
A silence fell over us. Everyone drowned in their own thoughts.
"By the way Holly, who were those people?" she pointed towards the room holly and the twins took those people.
"Oh, the man I was supporting is my husband and the children are my brother's kids. You'll meet them soon." She said.
And the day faded to dusk. When I saw the kids emerging from the room.
Oh great....
