New beginnings

Oh shit shit. What the hell? What happened to my phone. Battery dead. Oh my god I need to charge it and see the time now. What! 9:30 already. 10 missed calls from H. I did have a lot to drink last night. Ouch something hurts. Yes, that would be my head. I just need to get out of my bed, take a shower and be out in five minutes.
Luckily, I reached by 9:55 and my class was just 5 minutes away. As I was keeping my phone in my bag's side pocket, Boom. I bumped into someone and my phone fell. The screen was in pieces. My most priced possession, my phone was dead before my eyes. Ohh, the person in front of me has to pay the price for it.
As I looked up to see who I bumped into he just turned and started to walk away.
"Hey listen you all black freak. Just stop where you are. Do you realise what you have done. Don't you have eyes?"
He turned as fast as a hyena and I was shocked to see what was in front of me. Liam, the semi-god, the beautiful creature, the one god had made with patience. Concentrate Kat.
"What the hell Liam. Can't you watch where you go. Look what you have done. How am I supposed to go for my classes without knowing for which one I have t..."
"Kath whatever. Should have known it was you. Clumsy little girl. I really don't care. Nice talking to you. "
And just like that he walked with a smirk over my broken phone. How could he? My brain was boiling with anger. I could have just taken his collar and punched right at his killer smirk. Shit, even between all this, my brain couldn't curse him enough. No no no way, I have a class right now. What time is it. 10:10am. Damn it, I am late for the very first class in my college because of that dumb Liam. Wait a minute. What is he doing in our college. Oh my god, it was then I realised, I had to bear Liam not just for that night, but for four years till this college gets over.

"Good morning Sir. May I come in?" , I  asked in my sweetest tone, our physics professor, Dr. Green. He looked like a serious man and By the look on his face, I could tell I wasn't welcomed by him. Just then someone pushed me from their hard shoulder, enters without a word and sits on a vacant seat beside Isabelle. Liammm, ughhhhh. Why? Why are they both here? To ruin my life and make these four years awfully miserable for me.
"Come in, miss..."
"Katherine, Mr. Green "
"Oh yes, Katherine. Now Katherine, we have some policies here. May I know why your late for your first lecture?"
"My pho..."
"I am assuming this wont happen again. So to set an example for the class, you, Zara, Nia, Justin and that young man who just entered without permission are going to stay after 2 o'clock doing extra work or what you called detention in school. Hoping to have a lot of fun with you people. Now go take a seat. "
With my fists clenched, I took the seat H had saved for me. You are going to pay for this Liam.
" Hey Kat, I called you a hundred times. Where were you?"
"It doesn't matter H. My phone is broken. And I guess I can get it repaired only after this detention thing. God, first day and detention. That stupid Liam. "
" Hey hey Katherine. Calm down. He is going to suffer in the detention too."
When I looked beside Harry to see who said that, I saw the perfect human features, obviously Isabelle. And beside her Liam. Oh I guess, now we are friends/ two couples together as friends. I had no problem with Isabelle, I know we can become great friends, but Liam, he does not even know how to respond to a girl. I don't think we will ever get along. Either way, I knew I had to go through the detention because of him but to be there with him, straight headache.
I looked at him to give him a last scary glance for putting us both in this situation and to beware of me, instantly his glance turned towards me and it gave me a mini heart attack. I could feel the heat in my ears and cheeks. God when will this stop.
Just then I heard Isa laughing with H. Wow they have actually bonded when me and Liam were fighting. So not cool. I guess to keep up with them, me and Liam, no way, not happening till the time Katherine is alive.
