Katherine's p.o.v
Okay, I have officially lost my way. Why did I ever choose to come here at first place? I was better at home. The college was not even that far from the hostel. What should I do now?
Just then I heard something from behind the bushes. Don't turn around. Just keep walking. But being the curious self I am, I turned around and saw bright shiny eyes looking, rather staring at me. They were neither cat's eyes nor a human's. I knew there was only one way now. To run as fast as I can. And not stop till I find a main road.
I am not good at running infact I am miserable. My legs literally proved this fact. I didn't know if it was following me anymore or not but I could not run much longer. My legs were giving away.
Just then, I heard a honk. Yes, the main road must be near. I can ask someone for a phone or lift. I used whatever energy I had left in me to reach the road and voila. I was there. On the road. Alive. I was panting for breath and I could not move once I was on the road. I was so busy in catching my breath that right now I did not care what was happening around me.
Suddenly, a flash of light hit my eyes, I was blinded that very moment and I knew in that second that this is all going to end for me.
I was waiting for that light to approach me as I knew I had nothing left in me to move.

THUD

The voice of tires screeching and a loud thud reached my ears. I opened my eyes to see him. Just an inch away from me. Liam. He was there. Immediately I realised where I was and turned only to see a truck a centimetre away from me. And on it was Liam's one hand. A HUGE truck stopped by Liam, just using one hand.
I could not believe my eyes. But when I looked into his eyes, I forgot everything. I could see the fear in his eyes for me and at the same time I could see the much needed assurance of me being safe around him. Was this a dream? Or is it reality. All these
events had happened so instantly that I now started feeling light headed. I knew I could not manage being on my feet now and just like that I remember falling and my eyes being closed.
