My cheeks were red as a tomato as i spoke infront of the two men. I'm in so much trouble for this but here I am. I still manage to smile and blush like this knowing the fact that I'm in trouble. The arts and crafters gave me a small smile while the Principal chuckled lightly hearing my words stutter and my face flustered. God what has happened to me.
"Well that still doesn't save you from getting into detention and in big trouble." The Principal spoke while looking at me. I know that already but, if my parents are going to hear about this, that's gonna be impossible. I looked at the arts and crafters then back at the Principal. "I'm afraid I'm going to have to call your parents for this. I'm so sorry (y/n) but i must speak to your parents by tomorrow." The Principal spoke in a stern expression while leaning into his seat.
"Uhm, about that- I uh" I stuttered and my voice was low. The arts and crafters glanced at me with an expression full of worry. "Is there something wrong (y/n)?" The Principal asked but in a friendly tone this time. Denying it would be useless and not to mention nobody has ever known the history of my family. I hesitated to talk at first but, looking at the arts and crafters warm smile makes me forget my troubles.
"The truth is my parents are long gone. I live on my own with the help of my neighbors. They died because of an uncureable sickness which I've also inherited." I spoke in a sad tone knowing that what happened to my parents will surely happen to me. The arts and crafters gave me a sad smile but nonetheless wrapped me in a warm hug. The doctors said the symptoms of this sickness are having problems sleeping, often gets tired easily and high fever or coughing up blood. I couldn't imagine if that were to happen to me.
The Principal thought for a minute while eyeing the arts and crafters. The arts and crafters let go of me and stood up straight still giving me a warm smile. The doctors still haven't found a cure for my sickness which leaves me to overthink that someday I'll die because of this sickness and nobody's going to miss me or take care of me in the process. I hung my head and low and stared at my feet until The Principal tapped his desk lightly which made me perk up.
"If that's the case then since seeing you and the arts and crafters get along so well i was thinking why not he could adopt you instead? if that is okay with him that is." The Principal spoke with a smile leaving me and the arts and crafters both shocked and confused. "I only wish for all my students to be in safe hands. And i entrust (y/n) to you arts and crafters. Plus I bet Playtime would be happy to have a sibling." The Principal chuckled while looking at the said man. Wait, Playtime's father is the arts and crafters?!
"I don't have any complaints, Principal. And you are right Playtime would be happy to have a sibling like (y/n)." The arts and crafters spoke happily and to my surprise he kissed my forehead and ruffled my hair. I think I'm going to have the time of my life!
