"So, what's your plans for today?" Toni smiles.
"Nothing, going to head to Pop's for a milkshake and maybe some pancakes." You smile, honestly not into the whole valentine's day crap.
"Boring! Come to Cheryl's Valentines party!" Toni begged.
"Hell no! I'd rather eat my own vomit!" You groan and grab your backpack. "I'd rather spend it by myself, you go and have fun. I know how much you like her." You wink.
Toni blushes and rolls her eyes. "Fine. I'll go and drink for the both of us."
You quickly hug Toni and make your way out of Southside high. You walk home and quickly drop your bag off, before heading to Pop's for the night. You would rather spend the night sitting and reading in Pop's then go to a party with people you don't like. Of course you like Toni, she's your best friend. But Cheryl and her weird friends would be there and you hated them.
You walk into Pop's to the smell of burgers and fries. You smile and take a seat in your usual booth, the one at the back, away from everyone. You sit down and scan through the menu, already knowing what you want. "Good evening and Happy Valentine's day Ella. What can I get you?" Pop's smiles.
"Can I have some pancakes please with maple syrup, strawberries and chocolate with a chocolate milkshake and a bottle of water please." You smile. Pop's writes down your order and rushes off to prepare it. Soon enough, Pop's has delivered your pancakes and drinks to you and you are digging in.
"Someone's hungry." You look up and see Sweet Pea smirking down at you.
You swollen the pancakes in your month. "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be getting drunk at Cheryl's?" You question.
"Nah, didn't feel like it. Would rather eat a burger." He smiles and ordered a burger and fries with a milkshake from Pop's. He takes a seat opposite me.
We spend the night talking and laughing. Even sharing a couples milkshake. "What a lovely couple." Pop's beamed at us while handing us a ice cream boat to share. Neither of you correct him.
"I'm glad you didn't go to that party. Those bulldog dicks would of been all over you." Pea mumbles.
"Those vixen chicks would of been all over you." You smirk.
"I'm only interested in one girl and she isn't a vixen. She's an unofficial serpent." Pea winks.
"She sounds cool." You smile and drink your milkshake.
"She definitely is and extremely beautiful, funny and doesn't treat me differently because of who I am. She always puts a smile on my face." Pea gushes.
"She definitely sounds like a keeper." You blush.
"Yeah, I think I'll keep you." Pea smiles and leans over the table to kiss you. You smile into the kiss.
Best valentine's day ever because you got to spend it with Sweet Pea.
