I ran my hands through the dark locks of my hair, muttering profanities as I tossed and turned, attempting to fall asleep. Gripping my earphones, I played the playlist consisting solely of Jimin's music, hoping the soft drone of his voice would lull my sleep deprived self to sleep that I desperately craved for. 

I grabbed my phone and subconsciously switched among apps but the thought of having to start work at nine reappeared after every moment I recklessly spent over something so futile. The fleeting thought didn't appeal to me enough to shove my phone back under my pillow and finally shut my eyes after an exhausting day.

"Okay, Min Yoongi," I firmly declared, sitting up straighter. "It's eleven as of now, so if you sleep by twelve and wake up by eight, you'll have a complete eight hour sleep which an average adult should be perfectly fine with. Quit with the whining, a little Netflix or Instagram never killed anybody."

Insanely proud of my previous remarks, I patted myself on the back softly, swaying lightly as I turned the laptop on and browsed for a good movie to watch. While I waited for it to begin, I decided to re-read my messages that remained blatantly ignored after three months of having sent them. I tried to not think too much about it, engaging my mind in cringing at the hopeless attempts of attracting his attention that I doubted I'd be bestowed with anytime soon.
