Chapter Two: Meeting The Team

Ever

            Ever walked into the tall black building; looking around for any sign of Xavier. The place was completely dark, but luckily she could see in the dark. Ever created a medium sized blue flame in the palm of her hand as she looked around. She could feel the presence of someone in the room. “Come out, come out wherever you are.” Ever said, smirking. A low growl was heard from beside her. Ever turned to face a tall wolf like beast standing in front of her, growling. The beast roared and charged towards her, making Ever smirk and move out of the way. She punched the beast in the face, smirking as she heard a satisfying crack in the beast’s jaw. He looked at her and pushed her against the wall; the wall cracking loudly as she hit it. Ever coughed and created blue flames from her hand, pressing them against the beast’s temples and watching as the beast burned quickly. He fell to the ground and burst into black ash. “You’re pretty tough.” Xavier said, leaning against the wall with his foot propped up. She looked at him and raised her eyebrow, putting out her flames. “That was a pretty easy test.” She smirked, crossing her arms and stepping closer to him. Xavier smirked and pushed himself off the wall, biting his lip as he looked at her. “How about we go to my office and wait for your other teammates to arrive.” He said, opening the door for her. Ever smirked and walked out, adding a little more sway to her hips.

Avian

            Avian scowled as she walked into the black building, she frowned once she saw no one in there. “Maybe I’m a bit early.” She said to herself. Footsteps were heard around the room; causing Avian to look around the room with a frown. She smirked as she saw a dark shadow behind her. “You must be a test.” She said, chuckling. The shadow girl suddenly appeared in front of Avian, her eyes in the back of her head and blood dripping down her face. “Are you trying to scare me or something princess because honestly it’s not really working.” Avian said her smirk widening. The girl screamed in her face, immediately revealing her powers. “Oh so you’re a screamer?” Avian joked before she simply grabbed the girl by her hair and blew her breath in her face.  The girl started to scream in agony as the poison traveled through her veins quickly, tearing up her insides. Avian watched as the girl started to crumble to pieces, smirking. “That’s a nice power you have.” Ever said as she stood next to Xavier. Avian raised her eyebrow and walked towards Ever and Xavier, crossing her arms. “You didn’t tell me your little girlfriend was on the team too.” She said, staring at Ever. Xavier scoffed, looking over at Ever also. “She’s not my girlfriend she just your teammate.” He said, rolling his eyes. Avian smirked, "Yeah right."

Irez

     Irez walked quietly into the building and he clenched his fist, growling lowly someone had just made him mad by stepping on his shoe just a minute ago. “How dare he step on my freaking shoe I swear I’m gonna find him and I’m gonna kill him.” He mumbled. “Where did you find this guy?” Ever asked, turning the lights on. They weren’t gonna do a test on him because the more he fought the more angry he got. Xavier rolled his eyes and looked over at Irez. “Who are you?” Irez asked, looking at Ever. She laughed and leaned against the wall. “You’ll find out sooner or later.” She said, winking at him and walking out. “Now she’s hot.” He said, whistling and looking at her walk away.

Xavier 

Xavier rolled his eyes and led them to a large room with only four chairs in the middle. Ever sat in one of the chairs, biting her lip and crossing her legs. "So are we here to introduce ourselves?" She asked, tilting her head. Xavier nodded, "Since you were the first to ask, do you mind telling us your name and power?" He asked. She nodded, "I'm Ever and my power makes me create blue flames that can easily burn through anything." She explained. Irez smirked, "Do you mind if we see it?" He asked. Ever shook her head and pointed to her gloves, "I can't control them so I wear gloves." She said. Xavier nodded, "Your turn." He said, pointing to Irez. "Well the name is Irez and my power is my strength." He said. "So your like the hulk?" Avian asked.

Ever burst out laughing, causing everyone to look at her. "You do kind of resemble the Hulk in a way." She said. Irez rolled his eyes, "Okay, now I'm starting to dislike you even though your hot." He mumbled. Xavier shook his head.  "You're turn." He muttered to Avian. Avain nodded and crossed her arms over her chest. "I'm Avian and my power is poison." She said.

Irez and Ever nodded before looking at Xavier, waiting for him to start introducing himself. "I'm Xavier, my power is none of your business." He said. Ever rolled her eyes. "Rude much." She mumbled. Irez looked at her, "You're just as rude as he is."

Ever sighed and pushed him out of his chair, rolling her eyes. "I already hate this 'team'." She mumbled.
