Chapter Three: First Mission

Ever crossed her arms as she leaned against the wall, her eyes staring at everyone as they fought. “Why are we fighting again?” She asked, rolling her eyes. Avian groaned, “Irez won’t stop hitting on me, It’s honestly annoying.” She said, pushing him away from her. Xavier sighed, “Guys listen up, today is our first ‘mission’ together.” He said, “The guardians said that there has been many unexplained disappearances lately and they think it’s Zitron.” Xavier explained.

Ever nodded, cracking her knuckles and pushing herself off the wall. Xavier sighed loudly, “Avain, Irez, You guys are gonna go for his army. Me and Ever are gonna go for him.” Avian looked at Irez and rolled his eyes, crossing her arms.  “And guys, no arguing.” Ever said, walking out of the building with Xavier.

Avian pushed Irez out of the door and walked out after him, “Let’s go beat some butt, Idiot.” She said, following Xavier and Ever. Irez looked at Xavier, “Can we PLEASE switch partners?” He asked. Xavier shook his head, not turning around to look at him. “But come on, she’s annoying.” Irez said. Avain hit him in his arm hardly with her fist, “Well youre annoying too.” She said.

Ever turned around, a blank expression plastered on her face, “Will you guys shut up.” She said, walking backwords.  “No!” Irez and Avian yelled at her. Xavier put his hand over both of their mouths as he heard Zitron talking to someone.

“I know that The Guardians know our plan! So shut up and get the army ready!” Zitron yelled, causing the man to jump and run away. “They know we’re coming.” Ever whispered louwly. Zitron smirked as he turned around, “They will never expect what’s coming to them.” He said, holding up a weapon with a red light shining from it.

Ever looked over at Xavier, “What is that?” She asked. Xavier bit his lip, “That’s the Xedo, it can suck you into another world if one of it’s rays hit you.” He explained. Avian frowned, “That’s sucks.” She whispered. Zitron looked around, “Come out, come out where ever you are.” He said when he heard Avian.

“Guys, sneak out from the back door me and Xavier got this.” Ever said, Avian and Irez nodded and sneakily walked out of the door.  Xavier snuck up behind Zitron and kicked the Xedo out of his hands, Ever smirked, taking off her black leather gloves and throwing a fireball at Zitron. He moved out of the way, causing it to hit the wall behind him.

Xavier kicked him in the stomach,  watching as he doubled over and clutched his stomach. Ever kneed him in the face and grabbed a fistful of his hair, groaning as he punched her in the jaw. She let go of him and winced at the pain in her jaw. Zitron smirked and grabbed her hair, kicking Xavier across the room and repeatedly hitting Ever in her stomach. “You weak escuse for women.” He said, while hitting her in the face.

Ever coughed up blood and tried to get away, but she was in too much pain. Xavier stood up and pushed him away from her. Zitron smirked and grabbed the Xedo, shooting it at Ever. Xavier stepped in front of her and absorbed the power, throwing it back at Zitron and smirking at it sucked him in. Ever panted and looked over at him, “So you absorb powers.” She said, wiping the blood from her face and grabbing the gun. She used her flames to burn the weapon into ashes. “Yeah, but don’t tell anyone.” He said, biting his lip, “And why not?” She asked, walking out of the building. “Just don’t tell anyone.” He said, following her.

Ever sighed in relief as she saw Avain and Irez sitting on the ground, “Good, you guys are okay.” She said. Avian nodded and stood up with Irez, “You don’t look to good, we need to get you cleaned up.” Avian said, looking at Ever.

“Yeah, I think she knew that smart one.” Irez said, rolling his eyes and walking in front of them.  “Oh shut up.” Avian said, catching up with him and punching him in the arm.

Ever looked over at Xavier and smiled, “Thank you for saving me back there.” She said, biting her lip. Xavier grinned, “I couldn’t just let you get hurt.” He said before looking away from her.
