22. Almost My Birthday

~2 weeks later~

Reginae pov

Hi. So I'm Reginae Jackson. I'm Nichole's sister, or one of them at least. I'm the third child. So I'm 15 right now. My birthday is in three days and I'm having a massive Sweet 16 party. I'm going to be having live music and giveaways. I can't wait to be 16. I got my driver's license last Wednesday. It was just that time of year and they said that because I'll be 16 in a few days, that I could just do the test now. So I did it and I passed! So now I'm at home with Chloe and Jessica. This girl never leaves Chloe's side. I'm in my room upstairs and they're downstairs in the den. I don't know what they're doing but I'm on my laptop making a to-do list for today. Chloe, Jessica, and I are going to get some stuff for my party. Some stuff that I'm allowed to get. Like the food, drinks, paper plates, paper cups, napkins, and a new dress. So here's my list:

12:00 noon

• Get paper plates and cups.

12:30 pm

• Get the food from the list mom gave me.

1:30 pm

• Visit Jazzy and Nichole today for an hour and a half.

3:00 pm

•Get drinks from the list mom gave me.

4:00 pm

• Get napkins.

4:10 pm

• Get new dress for party.

I had a dress in mind but I'm still going to see if I can find anything else. I was thinking of what else I needed to do when I heard a knock at my room door.

Me: Who is it?

??: Its Chloe.

Me: Come in!

She opened the door but stayed by the post.

Me: What's up?

Chloe: You ready to go?

Me: Yeah. Let me just email this to my phone and we can go.

Chloe: Kay. Meet us downstairs in the car.

Me: Alright.

I emailed myself the list and grabbed my phone to check if it had gotten there. it was there so I closed my laptop and went downstairs. I put my shoes on and went out to the car. Jessica was in the front with Chloe so I sat in the back. Chloe drove off when I closed the car door.

Jessica: So Reginae, you ready for your 16 birthday?!

Me: Yeah. Its supposed to be awesome. I hope so.

Chloe: Don't worry. It will be. So exactly what are we doing today?

Me: Let me email the list to you guys.

I took out my phone and forwarded the list to Jessica and Chloe. Their phones went off.

Jessica: Got it!

Me: I realise.

Jessica: So it looks like we're getting paper plates and paper cups first. At noon. Well, its 10 minutes until noon. How far is the place?

Chloe: 8 minutes. Mom wants the plates and cups from a certain place and the napkins from another place. same with the food and drinks.

Me: I know. I find it weird but whatever.

Chloe drove us to the store mom wants the plates from and parked near the door. We got out and went inside. We got the stuff we needed from here and stood in line. It was a party supply store and there was a little line. So we stood there. I went on my phone while Jessica and Chlie talked. Then it was our turn to check out. We checked the items out and paid for them then went back to the car. I put the stuff in the trunk and got in the back. I was still on my phone. I was really on IG. Chloe drove off and headed for the super market. We got all the food we needed in 45 minutes. It was a lot. We went to check out, which didn't take long. Then we took the bags and put them in the trunk of Chloe's car. We got in and started driving to Nichole's place. She lived 20 minutes from here, surprisingly. We got there in 25 minutes though. We got out and I knocked on the door.

Prince: I got it!

He came and opened the door.

Prince: Hey guys. Come on in. She's upstairs.

Us: Hey. Thanks.

Me: Go get her please.

Prince: Alright. Nichole!! Nichole!!

Nichole: What?!?!

Prince: Your sisters and Jessica are here!

Nichole: Okay! Coming!!

She came downstairs holding Jazzy.

Nichole: Hey guys. what brings you here?

Me: Hey. Just came to see you and Jazzy.

Prince: So what am I? Chopped liver?

me: *giggles* And you too Prince.

Prince: better.

Jessica: Awwww! Is that Jazmine?

Nichole: Yeah. She just woke up from a nap. She was up at 4 this morning and so were Prince and I. she went to sleep at 11:45. She woke up 10 minutes ago.

Chloe: That's cool.

Me: I wanna play with her.

Nichole: *handing me the baby* Go ahead.

Chloe: Nichole, can I talk to you in the kitchen?

Nichole: Sure.

They went into the kitchen and started talking. I couldn't hear anything so I just stayed with Jessica and Jazzy.

Chloe's pov

Me: So Nichole. You know that Nae turns 16 in 3 days right?

Nichole: Yeah. What about it?

Me: Mom told you about the plans for the party right?

Nichole: Yeah. But I told her I couldn't do too much because of the baby.

Me: Okay. So what are you getting her?

Nichole: I'm not telling you.

Me: you have no idea yet do you?

Nichole: Not a clue.

Me: That's cool. I don't either. But I have something in mind.

Nichole: So do I. She keeps saying how badly she wants to see Miley Cyrus and Drake in concert. And they each have a concert in the next two weeks.

Me: I know. I was going to get her the Drake tickets.

Nichole: Prince and I were going to get her Miley's. And a new pair of Wolf Greys.

Me: Good choice.

We went into the livingroom and sat down. We talked about random stuff for about an hour and a half until Reginae spoke up.

Nae: Okay. We have to go and get the drinks, napkins, and a new dress.

Prince: Why didn't you get the drinks and napkins when you got the food and plates and cups?

Nichole: My mother wants certain stuff from certain places.

Prince nodded and we left. We went and got the rest of stuff. After that, we went back home. Mom would be home in an hour. We watched TV until she got here. Then she made us dinner and we watched more TV.

Hey. So I know this chapter was extremely boring. But its nearing the end of the book so all these are going to be fillers. The next chapter will be Reginae's Sweet Sixteen party. But yeah. I'm also working on the second book in the series. so there will be like 4 more chapters in this book before I finish it. Just a heads up. Next update soon.
