23. Sweet 16!!!!

~3 days later~

Shanty's pov

I woke up today at 6. Today is Reginae's 16th birthday and we're having a massive party for her. First we're going to the pool for a pool party at 10:00 AM. That's going to last for 4 hours. Then we're going to Skyzone for 2 and a half hours. Then we'll head back here for the final part of her party. Here is where she will open all her presents and eat cake and stuff like that.

Me: Wake up Reginae!! CHILD IF YOU DONT WAKE YOUR BUTT UP IN 2 SECONDS, IM CANCELLING THE PARTY!!

She jumped up and I started laughing.

Nae: Mom. Why'd you do that? Its 6 in the freaking morning! You ain't gotta be yellin' like that!

Me: Don't be sassin'. Wake up. And happy birthday.

She groaned and I left her room and went down to Chloe's room. I knocked on the door.

*knock knock*

Me: Chloe!!

Chloe: Yes??

Me: Oh good youre up. And you're dressed. Come on down for breakfast.

Chloe: I'll be right down.

Me: Okay. And stop by Nae's room before you come down to make sure she's up.

Chloe: Okay.

I left her room and went to Zoey's room. I knocked on the door. No answer. I knocked again. No answer. I figured she was still sleeping so I went in.

Me: Zoey? Zoey? WAKE UP!!!

She slowly woke up and looked at me like “seriously".

Zoey: Are you being serious right now?

Me: Good morning to you too. And yes I am.

Zoey: Morning. Fine. I'll be down soon.

I walked out the room and went downstairs. I went to the kitchen to put the breakfast sandwiches I bought from McDonalds yesterday on plates. I put them in the oven to heat them up and put them on plates. That's when all 3 of my kids came down.

Nae: Mom, you better have something good for breakfast this morning seeing that I'm up at 6:25 in the morning.

Me: Take a look.

She looked at what was covered on her plate and looked back at me.

Nae: Really? I was expecting scrambled eggs, waffles, fried sausages, and hot chocolate.

Zoey: Dang. You expect all that for breakfast? This is enough for me. Thanks mom.

Chloe: Yeah thanks.

Me: You're welcome girls.

Nae: *sigh* Thanks mom.

Me: Welcome. Now eat up and Nae, you go to you're room, and Chlo and Zoey, you'll come with me.

They nodded and ate. I went and watched TV. Then I called Nichole.

Nichole pov

I was fast asleep, sleeping peacefully for once in 6 months when I heard a phone ringing. I jumped up.

Me: Prince. Prince. Prince.

Prince: Mm?

Me: Where's my phone?

Prince: On the dresser.

Me: Can you get it please?

He got up and got my phone and answered it.
