Judys POV
I let Max into my apartment. Too overcome by many emotions, I allowed annoyance to settle on my face. But I was so happy to see him. So, so, so happy.
"Well, then Judy. I have to say, I did not think any apartment could be smaller than mine. But then again you are *voice breaks slightly* smaller than me sooo." He grabbed my picture of us and Jill when we were kids and held it in his hands gently.
"Gosh, I remember this. You and your obsession with Police stuff. Always sending me to jail. Heh heh. He looked at me.
I stared him down.
"I wish we had more photos like this."
Tears welled in my eyes but I refused the leakage. "Perhaps if you had made it easier to find you."
"YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE THERE!" I yelled.
His eyes clouded.
"Remember? You were supposed to come to my graduation. You were supposed to pick me up when I moved to the city! You were supposed to be my one constant! You were supposed to be my brother!"
He looked down. My voice faltered.
"But no! You decided to cut me out of your life without warning! Just like that! I figured it would be easier to find you after you were all over the news for being an attack victim. But no, that was not the case. And then, after several years, you just show up! At my family's annual hoedown acting like nothing happened. And now you show up at my door -"
and that's the only update so far!!! Hopefully one will be in the near future....
