I felt pain all over my body. It almost throbbed each heart beat, making me flinch lightly every few times it happened. Bucky carried me from the car to the door of our building, he touched the buzzer and not long after was the magnet on the door unlocking.

The door opened slightly to my very tired looking dad "Y/n??" He said worriedly and quickly opening the door fully. "Come on get her inside."

They carefully rushed me upstairs to my room and Bucky placed me on the bed, covering me with the sheets and the elevator closed behind both of them.

Bucky's POV

"What happened Bucky?" Tony said, behind me.

I jumped slightly, obviously still on edge from earlier. "Every test they did came back inconclusive. They couldn't do anything to help, so she wanted to go home and be with us all."

He didn't look up, "What does that mean though?" I'd never seen Tony like this, he did annoy me quite often but he was always a laugh to be around.

"I don't know, I really don't know Tony," The elevator doors opened to my floor and I started to exit.

Tony grabbed my arm making me turn to him. "Thank you Bucky... if you hadn't had been there she may have..." He gulped. I knew what he meant be neither of us wanted to say dead.

"Don't worry about it," I gave a weak smile. He stepped back into the elevator and the doors closed in front of him.

I'd been wide awake for what felt like days just thinking about a plan of what could happen in the forcible future. Was Y/n going to be okay? Would she live through the night? Have I wasted all this time by not telling her that I love her every single second I possibly could? I don't think I'd be able to live with my self. With the guilt. With the remorse. With the morning. With the emptiness.

I heard a faint noise, hard to establish though. It wasn't long before I realised it was above me, Y/n was above me. I immediately I got up and rushed to the elevator and bashing the button for Y/n's room.

The doors opened to reveal Y/n on the floor next to her bed with tears down her face and tissues scattered over the floor.

"Why didn't you call me?" I rushed over to her.

"Bucky I don't know what to do," she stuttered. I'd never seen her like this, she could move things with her mind and solve a college level math problem in under two minutes. She was in total confusion..

"What do you m..." I trailed off.

She uncovered her chest and arms from under the blanket to show me what looked like a light in her chest and the veins in her hands with the same shade of light blue.

"Help me bucky

"Help me bucky. I don't know what's happening to me" she spoke, sounding desperate.

"I don't know what to do," I said worriedly. I reached for her human hand with her glowing blue veins and held it in mine.
