What Could Go Wrong ( a Zed x Addison fan-fiction)

Chapter 17

Nobody had gotten sleep that night. Everyone was on edge. Mostly zed and Addison. Addison cried most of the night thinking about what may happen to her and zed spent all day thinking of ways to pummel colt. The morning followed and Addison begged her parents not to go through school day. They asked her why but she felt to scared to tell them. She ended up going to chill anyway. Zed in the other hand skipped breakfast just to get an early start on the day. Zed made his way to school quickly and saw the evil familiar face near the lockers swiping through his phone as if everything was ok. Zed speed walked up to him with rage and the loud sound of knuckles making contact with colts face could be heard from outside. Colt was takin back by surprise as his feet left the ground. He looked down to see zeds veins bulging.
"Give me one reason not to kill you right here right now." Zed said I'm a cold raspy voice.
"I'm not who I used to be." Colt said quickly with his heart beating out of his chest.
"Yeah prove it." Zed yelled.
"I..I don't know how I can prove it to you but please let me go. I beg of you." Colt pleaded with his eyes shut. Zed began to control his breathing and the set colt down slowly.
"Listen about a month ago I did some things I'm not proud of but I've had a lot of time to fix that." Colt tried to explain putting out calming
"How could anatomy get better in a month. And how did you even get back here? You were expelled." Zed questioned him not buying any of his nonsense.
" I just ...um re....uh....was....I turned over a new leaf." Colt said trying to find his lack of words.
"How did you even get out of juvie." Zed then asked.
"I had a trial I am just on probation but that's it." Colt tried to explain. Zoe scoffed at all of his words.
"I hope you know that I don't believe a word you say." Zed said angrily. "And if you ever go near Addison.....well then let's just say I will suddenly have a thirst for human brain again." Zed threatens . Colt nodded his head in a scared manner.
"I.....p..p...p..promise not t...t...t ..to go near her." Colt stutters and then runs away. Zed breathed heavily until he heard the bang of lockers around the corner.
"Whoever it is, come out." Zed said calmly and then out poked Addison's head.
"O..oh it's you." Zed said scratching behind his head. "How much did you hear." He then asked awkwardly.
"Most of it." Addison admitted walking up to him.
"Look, addy I'm sorry I just I got mad and I..." but zed could not finish his sentence before feeling the warmth of Addison's embrace.
"That was really stupid, but it was also really really sweet." Addison said with a smile.
"I just don't want to see get hurt again that all." He admitted with a bit a smile.
" I think colt will be to scared of you to even look at me." Addison let out a small laugh and so did.
"You think." Zed asked with a tender smile. He could feel her nod.
