Chapter 10: The Hospital

ARIA P.O.V.

I wake up the next morning to all kinds of yelling.

"DEREK! GIVE IT BACK!"

"No!!"

"I'll tell Daddy Liam!!"

"No!" I get up fast. As soon as I'm standing up, I feel the cramps all over again. But these hurt worse. I fall to my knees with my hands wrapped around my waist.

"H-Help!" I manage to shout. Amy and Derek peek there heads into my rooms and just about flip out when they see me curled up on the ground. I begin sweating like crazy and the pain begins to sharpen. "G-Get Liam and Z-Zayn." Derek nods and goes to get them. Amy comes and sits next to me. She grabs one of my hands and lets me hold it.

"Shhh.... It'll be ok." she whispered as she moved my head into her lap. She stroaks my hair and wipes away some sweat with the hem of her shirt. Derek comes back pushing Zayn and Liam through the door.

"What do you- ARIA!!" Liam yells when he sees me on the ground.

"BABY! Whats wrong?" Zayn asked. Liam and Zayn were now by my side. Liam was pulling out his phone. I guess he was calling the hosptial.

"C-Cramping... G-Getting... WORSE!!!!" Holy crap!!! I feel like I'm giving birth!! I start screaming and crying because it hurts so bad. Liam makes Amy and Derek go get Sterling and Savy. Savs and Sterl come sprinting in. Savy starts crying. Sterling goes into Mother-Mode. She's all frantic. She sits me up and sits me next to her on the bed.

"Its going to be ok. The hospital people are coming. They should-"

"WILL YOU SHUT THE HECK UP ALREADY?! YOUR MOTHERING ISNT HELPING THE PAIN HERE!!" I scream. I regret saying it as soon as I said it. "I'm... I'm so sorry, Sterling... It just... HURTS!!!!!!" I scream again. I start crying and gripping my waist harder. Eventually, the hospital comes. They carry me downstairs and put me on a bed.

"WHo do you want to come with you to the hospital? You're aloud three people."

"Zayn, Liam, and Savy." I say lightly.

"Get Zayn, Liam, and Savy!" the doctor guy yelled.

"WILL YOU STOP YELLING?! ITS NOT HELPING ANY!" I yell at him.

"Now, calm down, baby girl. It'll be ok." Zayn said as he came up next to me and held my hand.

"Zayn.... I'm scared.... I'm scared as hell right now.... Dont leave... Please?"

"I'm not going anywhere, love." He smiles sweetly. I smile back then start crying again because it starts to hurt all over again. Liam comes and runs into the car hanging up on a phone call with Savy by his side.

"Ari, I just called Simon. He will meet us at the hosptial. How are you doing?"

"Not...... So..............Good....................." My voice trails off and I go to sleep, or at least I think I fell asleep.

ZAYN P.O.V.

"Not...... So..............Good....................." Aria's eyes close and heart machine goes flat.

"Aria...?" nothing happens. "ARIA?! DONT LEAVE ME!!! PLEASE!!! DON'T YOU DARE LEAVE ME!!!! PLEASE!!!!" I begin crying as the doctors and Liam pull me away from her. I sit in a corner hugging and crying into Savy's shoulder. Liam was talking to a doctor. Right as we pulled into the hospital parking lot. The doctors exit the truck first pulling Ari behind them. Liam got out next and was followed by Savy and I. We all sprinted into the hospital and ran down the halls. As we were getting up to the ICU front desk, a nurse held Liam, Savy, and I back. I am still in tears. Liam holds me close. Savs is on her phone. We go and sit in the hospital waiting room. I continue to cry into Liam's chest. Savy comes into the room about 13 minutes after with the rest of the group. Niall comes straight over to me and sits next me. He grabs my hand and squeezes it. I squeeze it back. His hands are so small and delicate, like Aria's.... I begin to cry harder because of the thought of Aria.

"Hey guys. Sorry I'm late. Josh cam eby and so I brought him along, if you dont mind." someone said as they walked in. I look up just small enough to see Simon, Aria's dad and our boss, walk in with Josh Devine, our drummer and a good friend of Niall's, following behind him with a folder in one hand, an angry/confused/kinda happy/betrayed expression on his face, and a glare that was burning into Simon's back that could kill. I tucked my face into Liams chest.

"So, Josh, whats in the folder?" Harry asks.

"Nothing. Just some papers. Some contracts, some bills, some certificates.... Its nothing."

"Really? What kind of certificates?" Louis asks.

"THERE NOTHING!" he yells. Everyone jumps, even Liam. "Sorry..."

"So, I'm hungry. Anyone want food?" Niall asks.

"I dont know if anyone will want to eat after I say this." someone says. I know its the doctor. I spring out of my seat and run over to him. SImon is right next to me within a matter of seconds.

"Whats happening? Is she alright? Whats going on? When can we see her? Will she-" I keep asking.

"Sir, I understand you must have tons of questions. And I have answers to some of them."

"Alright." Simon says(A/N: HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! Get it?!)

"She has liver cancer and a tumor."

"Okay, he was right. I dont want to eat right now." Niall says.

"Will she...... live?" I whisper, scared-terrified- of the answer.

"Yes. They both are small, but the cancer is on both sides of the liver. We can remove the liver from the body and use a donor liver that has been sterilized and is completely safe. We can remover the tumor, as well. The tumor was growing inside of her and getting fairly large. Thats what was causing all of the screaming and pain. We will need the patients guardian's signature for the authorization to give the patient the treatment and surgery." The doctor held a clipboard out to Simon. SImon snatched the pen out of his hand and signed it.

"When can we see her?" I ask.

"Soon, sir..... Soon." and with that, he left.
