Meanwhile, the other royals were talking about the unveiling of the wall, wondering where their classmates are going.
"Do you know where Sofia is going, Amber?" Hildegard asked.
"She didn't tell me—she said it was a surprise, but I'm sure she's going with me to Ever Realm," Amber declared.
Sofia and Hugo were already waiting at the wall, where the fairies were, and their classmates came along.
"Welcome to the finale of the Royal School Fair: the unveiling of the Wall of Next Steps," Merryweather announced.
Some trumpeters played a fanfare, and the curtain opened up, showing the students' choices of school.
"As you can see on the wall, each member of our graduating class has chosen where they will go after leaving Royal Prep," Flora announced.
"So come forward and see what your classmates have chosen for their next schools," Fauna said.
The students checked out their classmates' choices of school.
"Zooey, you're going to the School for Adventure?" Desmond asked.
"Where else would I be going?" Zooey smiled.
"Oh, Chivalry Hall!" Amber beamed when she saw her brother's choice of school.
"Great job, James," Vivian grinned.
James saw Khalid's choice of school. "Khalid, you're going to the School of Royal Fashions?" he asked.
"Surprise," Khalid smiled.
Clio and Hildegard saw Amber's choice of school.
"Ever Realm Academy!" Clio beamed. "Congratulations, Amber!"
"You're really following in your family's footsteps," Hildegard grinned.
"Thank you—what school are you going to, Hildy?" Amber asked.
"Oh, the School of Royal Fashions," Clio said.
Amber was happy to see her picture in stone with the Ever Realm logo, but she didn't see Sofia's picture. "Sofia is supposed to be at Ever Realm with me," she frowned. "If she didn't choose this school, what did she pick?"
Sofia's voice rang out, "This is just perfect!" She was hugging Hugo tightly.
Amber went to see Sofia only to find that her picture is set in stone with the logo of the Corinthian Sports School. "Sofia, you're going to the Corinthian Sports School?" she gasped.
"Yes, I am," Sofia smiled. "Enchanted Ice-Dancing really puts me at ease."
"With our schedules being so hectic, we needed a school that'll help put us at ease," Hugo declared.
Sofia and Hugo went off to see Axel and Garrick. Amber looked at Sofia's picture, angry that her sister didn't pick Ever Realm Academy.
James saw Sofia's picture. "Wow, Sofia's going to the Corinthian Sports School—that's a great choice," he smiled.
"No, she's not," Amber insisted.
"What are you talking about?" Zandar asked.
"It says so right there," Desmond said.
"That doesn't mean she's really going there," Amber protested. She ran up and grabbed the chisel. "Sofia is not supposed to go to a different school as me!"
Amber hit Sofia's picture with the chisel, and the picture broke off the wall. The other graduates came up, shocked at what Amber has done. The fairies flew up and saw the damage Amber did.
"Amber, look what you've done," James frowned.
"When Sofia sees this, she's going to lose her mind," Derek glowered.
Suddenly, Sofia's voice rang out, "What's going on out here?" She and Hugo came out with Garrick and Axel only to find that Sofia's picture was broken off the wall. "What happened?" she cried.
Everyone glared at Amber, waiting for her to explain.
"Let me guess: Amber broke Sofia's picture off the wall, so the latter can go to Ever Realm Academy with the former," Axel guessed, his arms folded in disappointment.
"How do you know that?" James asked.
"Because I know Amber wanted Sofia to be her royal advisor," Axel declared.
"Amber, is this true?" Sofia glared.
Amber remained silent for a second, but seeing her sister angry made her realize that Sofia deserved the truth. "Yes, I broke your picture off the wall to keep you from going to the Corinthian Sports School," she admitted sheepishly.
"How could you?" Sofia frowned.
"Well, I know you needed to pick a school to go to after leaving RPA, but you didn't pick the right school," Amber told her sister.
"How do you know that?" Sofia frowned.
"Because you had the most fun with me at Ever Realm," Amber claimed. "Since you have to go somewhere, the best place is with me."
"You're saying I have to go to Ever Realm Academy just because you want me to?" Sofia glowered. "Amber, whatever choice I make, you need to be okay with it. If you can't even be a good sister, how can you ever be a good queen?"
Everyone was shocked at that, especially Amber—but as shocking as it was, Sofia made a good point. The others believed that Amber was being a horrible sister.
"Amber, we're going to discuss this with your parents," Fauna frowned.
Amber was horrified to hear that. Merryweather waved her wand and put Sofia's picture back on the wall. Sofia was happy that her picture was on the wall, but she gave her sister an angry look.
"Sofia, why don't you go and put yourself at ease?" Hugo suggested.
"Thanks, Hugo," Sofia told him. She went back to the tent for the Corinthian Sports School.
"Amber, if this is another one of your schemes to keep Sofia away from Hugo, you've gone too far," Axel frowned. "The girl already has enough on her plate—if she were to go with you to Ever Realm Academy, she'd be biting off more than she can chew."
Amber didn't really think about what could happen to Sofia depending on what school she'd pick. "I didn't really think about that," she declared.
