3 week later

Michael and I spent the rest of that day shopping for me. But, after Victoria Secret, he became a little standoffish.

I was able to get a lot of new clothes, making the last thing I needed to do is hair and makeup. I scheduled an appointment to get everything done at this super fancy salon so you know its gonna cost me a lot of money.

School has finally settled in with the first three weeks completed. The whole first week was all about syllabuses leaving the next two the start of a very tiring semester. School has left me swamped but I luckily met a new group of friends.

"Hey Rev wait up!"
I turn to my back to find the voice belonging to a small but mighty girl named Tala. With her 5"2 frame not giving justice to the spitfire in her heart, Tala Nakamura is a very confident girl, different from the other Tala I had met three weeks ago.

After the little run in when I was running, I saw her again at one of the schools many rallies. She was there, draped in a rainbow flag when she helped me find my way to my psych class. We instantly became best friends.

I see her dressed up in a very sophisticated yet chic pair of nude trousers paired with a black bodysuit. Her long raven hair mixes in with the shirt leaving her yellow skin, complementing her rosy cheeks.

"Hey! I'm about to go for a coffee, wanna join?" I say, walking towards her.

"Yeah I'm about to head to the library, but I feel like coffee sounds like a good way to procrastinate!"

We ended up chit chatting the whole way to the coffee store, and it made me realise that
I needed to go to work later tonight. Crap.

We spent the rest of our afternoon talking about anything and everything, which is exactly the polar opposite to whatever friendship Madison and I had.

Whenever I hung out with Madison, it always seemed like a competition between us, and with her having the upper hand at all times. But when I had gotten together with Payton, it seemed like I was winning this subconscious game of chess Madison and I played where we never acknowledged it in person.

But, when I found her sleeping with him, I believed it was her way of taking all of my pieces and burning them. I guess we never knew who really won that game of chess.

The phone abruptly rang, and in the span of two rings, I composed myself and picked it up.

"Hey baby," I say

I really needed some way to be able to pay for my makeover, so I got a job old Revae would never do, a call girl.

I know this doesn't sound like a very respected job but no one knows its you and the hours are super flexible. Also, peak hours are when Michael is out, making it my little secret. I started a couple days ago and was able to wrack up about $400.

"Do you think I can call you a name and you pretend to be her?"

Fuck. I recognized that very drunk voice.

"I'll be whoever you want me to be," I drawl out.

"Ok, her names Revae."

I then continued with the call, and many other calls before I decided to sleep.
