Having your laptop taken 4 times in one day is annoying -.- I had to write this at 3:00 am while my neck is currently aching, so hope you like it! And I'd like to make a dedication to KittenDormy that made the cover of mt story :) Again, thanks!

"Mis Miller, can I have a moment with you please?"
I turn around to face Mr. Williams and sigh as I walk, well, if you think that awful sound I'm making with my shoes is walking, then be it.
"Yes, sir?" I look at him questioningly but avert my eyes quickly as soon as his eyes land on my face. It's obvious I haven't slept in days, weeks maybe. I have to admit, these cheap products my neighbour is handing me sure aren't helping hiding my black circles adorning my face. And adding my dishevelled hair that I keep tangled all day, I swear I heard people's thoughts when looking at it "Does she have a brush?"
Yeah, I'd think the same thing if it wasn't me they were insulting.
"Miss Miller? Audrey? God, if I had a baseball bat right now, I would've knocked some sense in you" I hear him sigh and I snort unladylike.
"Sir, I don't think such language should be used when talking to one of your students. But under the circumstances that school's finished, I think I might let it past" I can't the smirk playing on my lips as I look at him straight in the eyes.
The thing is, Mr. Williams isn't like most of the teachers in this school. On this planet, to be exact. He's not young and isn't the kind of teacher that would be willing to put a good grade for a favourite, or who wouldn't give detentions that easily. But there's this aura around him that makes people welcomed, loved and respected by a single glance and wide smile.
He grins at me and slightly ruffled my hair, making it ten times worse than what it was a few minutes ago. I sigh again, annoyed and attempt at asking him again - though I got to say, this teacher get lost in his thoughts way more than me. And trust me, that's saying something.
"You still haven't told me why am I here".
At that, he raises an eyebrow and he lets out a low chuckle before saying " I was hoping I'd make a strong impression by being a little more strict, but I guess detentions are better to be forgotten", he adds " I want you to clean the class a bit, then I'll see what else you can do".
" Wait a moment. Clean? As in cleaning this huge classroom all by myself? Sir, I think that..." He cuts me and says " Yes, you will clean this classroom on your own. Maybe it'll give you time to talk to yourself like you did this afternoon in my period."
"But sir..." And yes, he cuts me off again.
" No but, Miss Miller. You're the one who was chanting some weird spell or whatever you were thinking, is better off unsaid, I believe so. And in this way, you'll have nothing to talk to yourself during my classes anymore. Am I understood clearly, Miss Miller?" He chuckles again and that smirk appears, making the lines around his eyes more visible.
"Yes, Mr. Williams", I think this is my hundredth time sighing this day. I pick up a lying broom - God knows how it got here - and start cleaning the floor.
An hour later~
It's official, I'm not touching any cleaning equipment after this terrific day. I am definitely not cleaning material because apparently: "I don't even know how to hold a broom the right way ". Or even better: "The way you're swapping the floor is like you're struggling to push a truck full of rocks, it's pathetic really".
I crawl back to one of the empty seats in front of me; and lay my head on the desk. I let out a small grunt as my head bumps roughly on that desk. Who put that here anyway? I touch my forehead and hiss, that's leaving a mark.
