What's wrong and what's right

"Wait what?" I say as I frown, and Perrie sighs. "Those girls you were talking to are bad business. Jesy causes the most trouble by far though, so you should probably avoid her." Alright, what the hell was happening. These people were mad, it seemed. "So do you understand it now Leigh-Anne?" She asked sweetly, and I could kind of tell it wasn't meant to be nice. It just came out that way..so I just nod, staying silent. Something tells me I shouldn't get on her bad side, that I should just play whatever weird game everyone played around here. It was like I was living in the movie Mean Girls.

"Good! So Jade," I zoned out after that, watching Liam walk by and sit at a table that wasn't that far away with Louis. I look at him for a second, and he caught my eye and smiled slightly, but Perrie started breathing really hard, making me snap out of the gaze I was holding with him. "You alright?" I ask curiously, and Jade giggles, speaking up for Perrie. "No, how could she be? Her crush is sitting right over there." I look at the boys, frowning. She already said she wasn't interested in Louis. Maybe she liked Liam? Or maybe it was the curly headed one...or the blond one. "Who?" I ask as I look at Jade, and she nods her head towards a blond headed boy, blue eyes piercing even from over here. He was really cute! "Wow, he's cute. Who's that?" What Jade said next instantly threw me off, making my mouth drop. "His name's Niall Horan. He's on the football team." Niall?! That had to be a different one, Jesy was dating him!

Maybe Perrie didn't know?

Maybe she did and she just didn't care because she liked him and didn't like her. Maybe I should ask... "Does he have a girlfriend?" I ask slowly, and she shakes her head no.

Fuck. I am so screwed, screwed for life. I can not catch a break, it's only my first day. Oh, why.

"Well that's good news for you! And do you like anyone, Jade?" I ask, trying to shake off the tight feeling I suddenly had in my chest. Jade's eyes went wide as she looked away, shaking her head. "Lies! She totally has a crush on Harry Styles. He's friends with the football team, but he plays the guitar and stuff. Jade and him are in the same class and oh you should just HEAR her squealing over Harry." Jade's face flushed red as she gasps, pouting. "Shush Perrie, don't say it so loud, people might hear." "So what? Jade, we're some of the most popular girls in school, you don't have to be so afraid. Just go up to him." Perrie teases, nudging her in the side with her elbow.

Before I can stop myself, I turn to Perrie, turning my head to the side slightly. "If that's the case why dont you just go up to Niall?" I ask, before I inwardly groan. Fuck! Fuck fuck fuck, I fucked up. I fucked up so bad. Why do I constantly fuck up? Why can't I just shut up?

What if she listens and goes up to him? Then what will I do? Jesy's with him!

"Because I'm waiting for the talent show! Jade and I always sing, and I think I'll send the little Irish cutie a message through song. I think it's a good move." I don't. That's a terrible idea, why would you do that? That's stupid. It's gonna be VERY embarrassing if he doesn't feel the same. "Good idea! You should totally do it."

Dammit.

"I know! Good thing is, the talent show is in a month or so, and I'm hoping to do something to wow him..question is..with that what?" I shrug a shoulder, thinking of what she could do. She might be crazy, and I could be helping her take Niall..but then again there can be more than one person named Niall. Maybe it was another guy. So, I offer up a idea. "Maybe you should sing one of those fun happy songs, you know? Like, a song about liking someone a whole lot." "What do you mean?" "You've heard the song Baby I, right?" I ask, and she nods. "So maybe you could sing something like that." She smiles brightly, turning to Jade. "You up for it?" "You know it!" I smile before hearing the lunch bell ring. "Time to go! See you later Leigh-Anne!" Perrie says happily as she packs up her lunch, and I do the same. "See you later Perrie!" I respond, and say bye to Jade as well who waved nicely as Perrie pulled her off. As soon as they were gone, I couldn't stop myself from running over to Louis.

"Leigh-Anne what are you-" "The blond one, he hasn't got himself a girlfriend?" Louis frowned slightly, seeming confused by my outburst, shaking his head no. "Not that I know of." I nod and walk away quickly before he can respond with more questions that I couldn't answer. Alright, so I was wrong. Good! All would be well then!

This was going to be one hell of a school day.
