Past 9PM, Junmyeon keeps his room dark and quiet, curtains closed, phone in vibrating mode, lights off. He does this to give himself some time to think about the things he's done for the past 24 hours, reflects on the words he says on interviews, on the things the hosts tell them on a show. Chanyeol's room is next to his; He's probably composing, if the soft piano melody reverberating through the walls is of any indication, and Junmyeon sighs to himself, rolling over slightly as he listens closely to the gentle sound.
It's 9.32PM, and Junmyeon tries to recall the things he'd said on today's variety show shooting. Instead, there's a bright, beautiful smile in place of where he expects the words to be, and Junmyeon's own breath hitches, as if in awe.
It's 9.34PM, and instead of introspecting, Junmyeon's thinking about how much he misses the ghost girl, and her pretty smile.
From outside of his room, he hears someone's door creak open, footsteps walking down the corridor. Out of sheer curiosity, Junmyeon gets off of his bed and opens his door to check outside, only to find a Minseok hyung in his coat and jeans – ready to head out somewhere. Junmyeon blinks. He's used to seeing Sehun or Chen heading out somewhere at these hours but Minseok usually leaves earlier if he wanted to go anywhere; "Where are you going, hyung?"

"Do you remember what it was like before you died?" One of her ghost acquaintances asks beside her. She had been a businesswoman, on her way home from the US for a business deal when a heart attack took her just as she was about to exit one of the terminals. This happened just a little over 6 months ago. She remembers her family, she remembers the life prior to the after that she's living in now. She remembers how it feels to be in love as a youth – but most importantly, the ghost girl thinks, is that she remembers her name. Businesswoman Kang Joohyun remembers her name, Kang Joohyun.
She snaps out of her thoughts and returns her focus to her, shying away from the bit of bitterness in her chest, "I get glimpses from time to time. About what I did before I died."
Joohyun tilts her head slightly in question, her soft smile almost glowing with the translucence of her body. "I... think there was someone that I liked very much."
Ghost girl purses her lips when Joohyun lets out a gleeful coo. "Crush? Crush on a senior~ Or cute neighbor?"
"No, it's... sometimes, I see myself in this gathering with a bunch of other girls. We're all holding banners. So was I, I think. I'd remember bearing with the humiliation because we would all get stared at by other people," she says, and at this Joohyun slants her eyebrows in concern.
"You'd all get stared at—? Were you an activist or a protester?"
"I could be," she shrugs, "But those weren't really rally events. More like..." ghost girl huffs when she can't seem to get the words into her head, "Like, like... Ah, fan meets?"
"Aww, you were a fangirl, huh?"
"It explains most of the memories that I've managed to recall," ghost girl smiles, satisfied that one thing in her 'life' has made sense, "I don't remember of who though."
There's a sudden announcement echoing throughout the large space, and ghost girl thinks she hears Joohyun's breath hitching at this. Joohyun straightens her back as she listens closely to the announcement; "This announcement is for Kang Joohyun. We have here a – woman, 24 years old, who tells us her name is Kang Seulgi, and that she is here, waiting for you at your meeting point. I repeat – this announcement is for Kang Joohyun..."
Always the same announcement, always on the same date every month – same time. The monotonous voice of the announcement turns into mere background noise. "Does she feel anything when you're there with her?" Ghost girl asks, "Wait, no. That's a stupid question, of course she would. Why would she keep on coming back every month then, huh? Stupid me."
