Seeing how she was in deep thought and probably, worried, pondering about her memories, he thought it would be best if he didn't gush out his annoyance about the article and the photos floating around with him going through the trash can.
"Good afternoon passengers. This is the pre-boarding announcement for flight KAL127 to Japan. We are now—"
Junmyeon quickly placed his earbuds in, not wanting to hear any more of Sehun's babbling and because it was his way of talking to her without it seeming like he had been talking to an imaginary friend.
"I'll see you in a few days. Don't get too hung up on that. Go scare some people and get some laughs out of it or something," Junmyeon spoke lightly as he slung his backpack over his shoulder and quickly made his way.
"Have fun Kim Junmyeon," she waved at him and forced out a smile.
She must be 'that' out of her mind to call me by my full name, huh?
"Take care, ghost girl," he spoke and Sehun hummed questioningly had the youngest took out one of his earbuds and stared at Junmyeon.
"What?" the leader asked with a monotonous tone. "Nevermind," Sehun brushed it off thinking it might just be those sudden sounds you hear when you're hearing music too loud.
—
"Shit, what did I told you? Stop scaring the soul out of me. I would really strangle you if you're the cause of my death at this airport," Junmyeon massaged his temples with hands still wet and soap stuck in between his fingers.
"I didn't want to have too much on my mind, so I thought I might just scare you. It makes me happier," she shrugged her shoulders before floating just a few centimetres from the ground.
"Stop floating. I beg you. I'm planning to live a looooong and healthy life, so please don't make me die before I could cross out more than half of the things I have on my bucket list," Junmyeon dried his hands with rubbing them against his coat out of annoyance.
"You should work on that anger, Myeon..." he stared at her through the mirror and she avoided his gaze.
"Please don't do this. Think of this time out as payment for the storm you have brought onto me," forcing out an obvious anger-driven smile, he managed to get a faint hum from her.
Sighing, trying to fill himself with positive energy — despite being in the mens and it oozing with energy which is anything but positive, he plastered on a normal expression before exiting.
But his facade didn't really last long because as soon as he went out he could see the trash can. Oh, the nightmare of seeing the previews of him having his arm inside it. To add to the nightmare, he couldn't believe some of the fans are gathering there, as if it's a sacred place.
"Why do some fans go to extreme levels, we're humans as well. As if anything we touch would bring good luck or anything. We are just humans who got lucky and famous, not gods..."
"I wish I could just throw that trash can through her," he sighed and soon after he heard screeches and screaming.
It was from the girls surrounding the trash can. Junmyeon blinked his eyes rapidly out of disbelief to what he was seeing. He even rubbed his eyes but it seemed to not be his eyes tricking him.
The girls had some of the trash thrown towards them and even some just casually floating around in midair.
"Hey, Junmyeon, I'm sorr—" her speech hung up as she saw how Junmyeon was focus looking at something.
"Oh my... iS THE TRASH FLOATING?!" she screamed as soon as she moved her sight towards where Junmyeon had been looking at.
"Wait... You didn't do tHAT?!" he quickly covered his mouth, realizing how people would perceive him as screaming to the air.
Stern in her tone, with a tint of questioning, she replied to him, "No."
"Then... what just happened? I can't even imagine how they would write the article about this incident..."
Hasty steps took him back to the toilet, leaving her floating and moving her head back and forth from viewing his back racing back to the comforts of the toilet to the still floating trash.
As the crowd cleared away from the trash can, she saw a ghost of a man (probably around her age, not that she knew what her own age was, but it wasn't time for her too think that deeply into it) throwing the trash roughly back when it had been. Slowly, she made her way towards him, his voice getting clearer as she came nearer.
"Nosy, noisy fangirls, like disturb your idols all you want but don't disturb other's comfort. I can't even get any peace despite being dead for a while now," the ghost sighed with annoyance.
"I'm sorry..." she spoke and made the ghost snap towards her.
"Fangirls, always that loud. Are you apologizing because they were your friends or because you were apart of that fandom?" he questioned her, his face unchanging from the god-save-me-from-this-disturbing-situation expression he had when he was throwing trash out.
"Not because of that but I think I could be the reason why they are behaving like that..." she looked down and fiddled with her fingers.
"Whatever, I'm blasting off kiddo," the ghost flew away and disappeared from her sight in mere seconds.
Sighing, she slowly lowered herself to the ground and walked towards the toilet to give her apology to Junmyeon, seeing how it was unsuccessful a few moments ago.
"Junmyeon..." she called out because he wasn't in the toilet.
"He would have been washing his face forcefully..." she hummed and had her head tilted sideways.
"Just where would he be..."
She walked out the toilet and lifted herself up. Floating around she soon found herself near the fast food restaurants. She noticed the ghost from before, sitting next to the frying machine. Just looking at the golden fries. Humming out questioningly, she stared at the ghost for awhile before shaking her head, putting her thoughts back on track.
She then wandered around the airport, eyes working hard to spot Junmyeon amongst the growing sea of people.
"OH MY GOD, OH SEHUN, COULD YOU TRY AND CONTROL THAT DOG FROM CHASING ME," a scream echoed throughout the airport and in a heartbeat, she noticed it was Junmyeon's voice screaming.
"TRY TO DROP THOSE FRIES, HYUNG! HE'S PROBABLY CHASING YOU BECAUSE OF THAT!" a screaming replied came out of Sehun's mouth.
"THAT DOESN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE! LOADS MORE PEOPLE ARE HOLDING FRIES! MOOOOMMMMMM"
