No!!!!!!!!!!! I shouted out of my sleep breathing heavily. My mom ran into my room, I guess my scream woke her up

"It's just a bad dream baby, it's all right" my mom said sitting down on my bed close to me and cuddling me in her arms like she does anytime am scared "it's alright sweetheart am here" she said letting it come out as a whisper

"mom am so scared " I was at the edge of crying

"it's okay we will talk about it in the morning now go to bed" she said standing up from the bed and laying me down to sleep as she pulled the blanket over me with a soft kiss she laid on my forehead and said "goodnight"

I think I had slept because I didn't hear my room door open or close.

"What's that smell?" I said.

I woke up with a terrible headache which I believe it had something to do with the nightmare I had "where's that pain killer?" I asked myself checking the nightstand. Taking two pills from the sachet into my mouth as I swallowed it with a bottle water I left on my nightstand which I always keep before going to bed at night. Looking at my princess room for like the tenth time in the past 24hrs and how much I would miss her. I can't believe I'm leaving for college tomorrow, it like a dream come true at last.

I change my night wear into a crop top and a high waist flay skirt after having my bath with warm water then pulled my hair into a ponytail. I headed down stairs were my mom is, she was in the kitchen baking cake and cooking other varieties, she only does these on special occasions.

"Mom? Is today your birthday?" I think I must have forgotten that today is her birthday . I took my phone out to check the date

"no Loretta it's not my birthday, this celebration is about the fact you are leaving for college"she said giving me a hug that almost made me choke. I don't get why everything calls for celebration even to the littlest thing. I remember when I made my first drawing at 4years old, my mom celebrated it like it was a big deal. To be honest I can't remember what she didn't celebrate.

"mm what's the celebration about? I hope it's for the most beautiful princess in the world? " Peter said giving me a wink that have grown to love during the years

"of course" my mom said; there's something about the way Peter and my mom get along I don't know if it's because she has known his parents like forever or that she loves the fact we have been childhood friends.

Me and Peter helped mom to serve the foods on the dinning table while mom arranged and cleaned the kitchen, few minutes later mom, Peter and I were seated at the dinning table about to start eating when we heard a knock at the door.

"I will get it" I said excusing myself from the dinning table.

I opened the door I was surprised to see my Besties

"oh my gosh! I can't believe you guys are seriously here" I said hugging Christine and Melissa my two Besties
"Can we go in or what? " Melissa said. She was dressed in a black leggings and a dress top with a black top heels, I don't get why everything she wears has to go with heels

"come in" I said holding Christine's hand, she was dressed in a black slim fitted gown a little above her knees with a golden slippers heel. Her hair was done in a ponytail like mine just that it was way longer and lighter, she has a golden hair colour unlike mine that's dark brown.
I was so into what they wore to even realise we were at the dinning room

"wow! You two have grown so tall" my mom said
"how is London? " she asked...

Christine and Melissa had left for London since I turned 16 to continue their schooling. Besides that Christine's mom and Melissa's dad got married after Christine's mom got a divorce from her husband and Melissa's dad lost his wife (Mrs Rachael Chatter may her soul R. I. P) making them step sisters, they had wanted to leave for London to start a new life together.
