chapter seven

"Ma'am please what's your destination " the taxi driver asked

"Please keep driving , take me anywhere that's quiet thanks" I said

"Okay I will but you know you can't walk around on a T-shirt and a boxer covered in blood " he said

I totally forgot I was on does. I was to busy to notice my recent appearance

"Oh you are right, I totally forgot. Please stop me at any nearby mall so I could get something to wear" I said

"I would love for you too do that can't I just take you to my place so you can shower and eat something? you look like you just lost someone and don't worry about the cloth I will get you something to wear once I'm out to order something we can eat I'm sure you like pepperoni pizza? "

"Yes I do, but don't bother yourself" I said

"No it's nothing if it was my sister I would do the same. So why can't I do the same to someone who needs it now? Please don't worry it's nothing "
He assured me

"Thanks" I said. I watched the passing vehicle through the car window then few minutes after I could see drops of water on the window. The car was getting to cold but before I could say anything the driver had changed it to heat mode

"Thanks so much" I said again

"No it's nothing , stop thanking me already" he said

I felt a tap on my shoulder, I jerked up then I realised I was fast asleep. The gentleman lead the way to his apartment,  it was something I didn't expect . The apartment was so classy for a taxi driver

"That is were u would be sleeping in, go In and shower I would be back soon" he said

I walked down to the room door he pointed to then heard the sitting room door shut. I opened the room door and was relieved.  I quickly undressed the clothes I was on.  I ran a hot bath.
"I needed that". 

I got in and for the first time in a while I appreciated the water. In there all I could do was think of Parker and how he was doing.  So many issues right now and I don't even know if I'm capable in handling them.

"Oh peter! " the truth was I miss my best friend even tho his my boyfriend I still miss him.  I can't call him now to tell him anything.  Lately I have distanced myself from him because something's are better of not said.

I could already feel the water getting cold.  I quickly got out of the bath,  cleaned my body and I was left with my bra and pant. 

"I can't wear does again" I said to myself I need to wash them.  I headed back to the bathroom to wash them when I was done I tried drying them off because it will come handy.

I made use of the spare cloth on the bed which was an extra bed spread to rap myself and luckily I heard the front door open

"His here" I step out of the room

"I was thinking I would meet you fast asleep, well good thing you haven't slept.  Here are the clothes I got you" he said giving me a bag

"go change while I put the pizza into a dish so we can eat" he added

I left immediately and got into a dress good thing he added panties among what he shopped

The pizza was so good. In no time I was done with my piece which was giving to me.  I washed the dishes and went straight to the room to sleep. I was on it when I decided to call peter after 3 attempts he didn't pick guessed he was sleeping.

"Help!!!! " I was screaming, everywhere was dark, I couldn't see anything. I was so scared  and suddenly I saw a light race

I tried to follow the direction of the sun and I was in the middle of nowhere. 

"Help!  Hello! " where the only words I could yell but my voice keeps echoing and from afar I could see a young man standing looking at me, he has the same facial looks like peter

"Peter help me please!! " I screamed already crying at this moment

While standing there he laughed and turned back leaving me in an unknown land

"HELP!!!!!!! " I SCREAMED OUT OF MY SLEEP.  It was a dream.  A horrible one at that. I was in tears. I was to scared to close my eyes and what was left of me was to stay up.  I taught so much of the dream I just had and can't find a meaning to it.

"Peter can't do that" I said as a sign of consolation

After a lot of hours on the dream I could feel the sun coming up.  I stood up from the bed and did a little cleaning to the apartment and when I was done I had my bath and changed into another cloth that had been purchased yesterday .

"Hello" I heard on the door along side a knock.  I opened it

Hello sorry to disturb

"How was your night? " he asked

"It was okay" I said lying.  I didn't want him to be worried. He has done so much to add more

"So sir I would like to go back to the place you picked me up yesterday hope no problem " I asked

"Not at all, breakfast is ready come and eat and.. " before he could complete his statement my phone stared ringing. It was peter calling

" Hey baby" he said on the other end

"Hello dear" I responded

"I saw miss call at 1am, seems someone was missing me" I could hear the joy in his voice

"Yeah. I was missing you. I wanted us to talk but I guess you were sleeping" I said

"Yeah I was,  how was your nig... " the line went dead I'm sure he meant night...

I worked out of the room to have breakfast

"Thanks sir at least accept this from me" I said giving him the last money I had on me

"No don't worry, take care of your self" he said

"I will" I said with a smile on my face

"Sorry before I forget, here is my complementary card in case you are in need of any assistance any day give me a call"

"Thank you so much sir" I said while putting the card behind the cover of my phone .
