'Oh my God.' I think. Am I falling for Ashton? It can't be. No. Wait... This could be my revenge! Not pity, but by cheating! Actually, it isn't cheating if we're not together anymore. Anyways, I could be with Ashton, and Niall will miss me? Is that how this is supposed to work? Relying on his soft side? Well, it's worth a shot... I guess.
"Ashton." I say once he picks up the phone.

"Pretend to love me." This is akward.
"Wait... What??" This is going nowhere.
I decide to confess my "feelings" for him. Incredibly stupidly.

"Um... Okay?" Maybe I should explain.
"Well, I've decided not to use pity for revenge on Niall, but revenge for.. Revenge on Niall. If that makes any sense. I'm sorry. I'm stupid. I'm so sorry. Do you understand what you have to do?" What he "has to do" is be my boyfriend.
"One, you aren't stupid, two, great idea, and three, so will we have to go on dates and stuff?"
"Of course! But we have to fun out when Niall will be at places we will go, so he'll see us."
"Makes sense."

"I love you, too. But, for real. Like, I've always felt that way. And I don't want a fake relationship with you Libby. I want a real one."
