Teaching the year thirteen class has to be the worst part of his career. Firstly they never listen or bring in their homework or do anything Liam asked of them and he- was just tired. Sick of it all but was thankful that Zayn Malik hadn't turned up at all. He'd been bunking off lessons for the past two weeks and Liam honestly couldn't have been happier. The boy was ultimately scary, with his rough manner and the way he was so defensive. it's better off that he hadn't turned up, at least people weren't so fearful of him. As Liam sat down  to sip at his coffee he pulled out the only piece of homework he had received from a quiet girl at the back of the class. She always did her homework, even bothered to email him questions when she wasn't too sure about the things they were studying. Liam honestly liked having her in his class because then he wouldn't feel like a complete waste of time and effort, at least someone will learn something. Just as he was looking through the mark scheme a high pitched voice rung through the corridor and Liam couldn't help but wince. Louis Tomlinson was a devastatingly loud and boisterous young man who had been considerably quiet when his friends weren't there. It had been a peaceful class, not much happened and Liam preferred it that way. So when Louis burst into the classroom followed by two boys and a black figure, Liam immediately tensed and pushed aside his lukewarm drink. Zayn was here and no doubt was going to wreck havoc. Liam didn't really mind the kid if he wasn't so angry with his defensive posture and snide remarks, albeit he only met him once but words flew around the staff room and he'd heard enough. As the rest of the class came in, significantly quieter than Mlaik's crew, Liam stood up and found the girl at the back, her name was Sophia, he remanded and  gave her a smile.

"Sophia, thank you for that brilliant essay. I found you had some really strong points but you need to elaborate in detail to reach the top bands. Although I did think it deserved an A but you need it to be a secure one, yeah?" he explained to her while handing her back her essay and taking the homework he had assigned last week from her, not bothering to ask the rest of the class. Sophia nodded and turned away from Liam with a frown and picked at invisible things on her desk while Liam sighed. He hadn't meant to upset her because he knew she tried hard, he was just trying to help her out and pretending she was a really top band was a lie and would be unprofessional of him.

"So class I hope everyone's had a nice weekend and enjoyed the sunshine. I need you to get back with your partner from last week and complete the remix of the song you chose"  Liam instructed while walking back to his desk and regretting the tight pair of jeans he had on, everything else was in the wash and the school wasn't too upset by causal wear so he'd worn it thinking it looked allright. He obviously hadn't considered that every time he bent they made a  ripping sound so he avoided moving.

A couple of people groaned and grumbled but they got up and went to their partner while Liam brought out the box of Ipads so that people could use this awesome app he had found to mix music. Although it wasn't really part of their course Liam had found that universities loved it when music technology students knew a little bit about remixing instead of the usual basics. After handing each pair an IPad and having hushed laughter and papers thrown at him when he passed Zayn's table, Liam managed to finally sit down and check on his e-mails as well as making sure everyone was doing work rather than using this time for fun.

"Mr Payne, Yo Liam, Zayn wasn't here last time he doesn't know what we're doing" Louis' shout startled Liam as he went to throw something in the bin. He forgot what it was completely when Zayn looked up at him from beneath his lashes and smirked.

"Um right- Zayn- you want to come to the front so I can show you the presentation?" Liam honestly couldn't stop shaking as the younger boy looked at Liam and nodded halfheartedly. He stood up and shoved his fists into his pockets as he walked up to Liam's desk. Liam honestly for the life of him couldn't stop admiring the man, he was just breathtaking in his appearance. LIam usually didn't like to appreciate looks before personality but he couldn't lie about Zayn's features, he was stunning. His raven hair stood high above his head in a quiff that was slightly buzzed by the sides of his head. His eyes were downcast so Liam could see the thick lashes that curled against golden skin, curling upwards against his cheekbones. The golden skin looked soft as it was pulled taut over a defined bone structure and the little bit of stubble lining his chiseled jawline made him look anything but soft, he looked exquisite. His pink lips were twitching by the tips and he was biting on the lower, slick lip while glancing up at Liam for a second  before returning to look at the ground. Liam really couldn't breathe with him edging so close and now without his leather jacket, he could see the tight fitting red shirt outlined the lean, muscular figure and did little to hide the indents of his abs. His jeans were a little tight but were low on his hips, giving a sort of disheveled look to him. Liam really liked his shoulders, seriously loved the shape of them and could imagine biti- patting him on the back for getting an answer correct.
