Chapter twelve

Blonde

A blonde streak contrasted sharply with inky black hair, piled high in a sturdy quiff,  not a hair our of place. Zayn Malik had a new look, a look that didn't make Liam's stomach flip, or his heart lurch. No it didn't have any effect on Liam. There really should be a law against this kind of look that Zayn has going for him. The dangerous, sexy yet smoldering look that is leaving Liam salivating all over his clothes. Liam shook his head and turned away to open the door to his classroom, ignoring the gasps and several swoons heard as Zayn walked down the corridor. Stark white teeth gnawed at a plump rosy lower lip as his eyes shone with that drizzle of honey and gold and mirth making his eyes sparkle. Little topaz fireworks created a glow in those eyes. A thick curtain of soot black eyelashes flickered rapidly, creating shapes against sweet honey skin. His nose was literally too cute for the whole brooding look and this faint little dot on his nose was driving Liam nuts, that nose needed to be kissed frequently. Right now would be good. 

Liam had always admired Zayn's impeccable sstyle but today's attire was beyond belief. His vintage, trademark leather jacket hugging broad shoulders and wiry muscles. His white shirt did little to conceal his abdominal muscles. Dark skinny jeans and black combat boots completed the onsomble. Liam tried not to sag against his door as he contemplated slamming Zayn against the nearest wall and crushing his lips in a seering kiss. Zayn's hands were shoved into his pockets as he looked up slightly at Liam with a small grin tugging at his lips. That jaw though. Liam gulped uneasily as he eyed Zayn from his peripheral vision. The stubble lining his chiseled jaw gave him that edgy look. Cheekbones that haunted Liam's dreams ever since Zayn handed Liam that ticket to the cinema for the film tomorrow. That damn ticket had burned a hole into Liam's jeans.    

"Mr Payne, class started over seventeen minutes ago" Zayn shook Liam's shoulder as he walked over to the door just a tint of red painting his cheeks as he ducked his head, with his tongue pushed to the back of his teeth.

"Class? What's class?" Liam leaned against the door as he admired Zayn, taking his time to appreciate his appearance. Liam was too enthralled by Zayn that his atm slipped and he banged his head against the door.

Zayn giggled. Fucking giggled! While Liam flushed an angry red and was almost dizzy with embarrassment.

"You have to teach us, that's what class is, are you allright Mr Payne?" Zayn asked with his eyebrows arched questioningly.  i'm more than allright baby, I'll give you a night you won't forget.

Oh okay, that was inappropriate, especially with the rest of the class standing right there, watching them.

"Right, yeah class. Um come in" Liam hurtled through the door and into the room, tripping over his own feet in an attempt to get to his desk quickly. After his class had stumbled in, several people lagging behind and Sophia missing from the bunch, Liam turned around to open his drawers and pull out his marked work.

"Zayn's hair looks weird" some guy said, not loud enough for Zayn to hear but Liam tensed, tried to ignore the imbecile who obviously couldn't appreciate Zayn's amazing hair.

"Zayn, what the hell bro? You're hair looks fucked" Louis not so discreetly whispered and everyone turned to look at the two boys at the back of the room. Liam turned around too and saw just the briefest flash of pink under Zayn's cheeks as he gnawed on his lip. He ducked his head and Liam honestly had to jump in and protect that insanely attractive boy.

"Tomlinson! Get out!" he shouted and the rest of the class turned to him in shock, he never was one to shout.

"What? W-why?" Louis spluttered as he turned beet red.

"Just get out. You're talking in my lesson" Liam dismissed him with the wave of his hand and turned to switch on the projector.

"Hang on mate, he didn't do anything" Zayn had to jump in and help his friend out, didn't he?
