Another Potter

Part 8

September 25.

~ Lily's POV ~

"Finally finished!" Vicky smirked evilly. "Now the next phase, put it in the food" I smirked. But I didn't feel like being turned into an animal today so I asked "Is there any way we don't get turned into animals and don't look suspicious? I don't feel like being an animal today...".  "Me neither... and we don't have to be in the great hall when the prank will start. What class do we have before lunch?" she asked and with the look on her face, I knew she had a plan. "Transfiguration," I said, obviously knowing the answer.  "Perfect! You just need to ask her an advanced question so she needs time to answer it, and if we need more time just say you don't understand it. And my excuse will be that I'm waiting for you. That's not suspicious at all, and Professor McGonagall surely won't get suspicious of Lily Evans." she smiled.

Vicky and I had a free period now so we took the potions and went down to the school kitchen. We politely asked an elf to show us where the lunch was. I put the potion on the Hufflepuff's food and on Ravenclaw's food while Vicky did the same to the Gryffindor's food and the Slythering's food. When we got finished she asked me "did you mix up the potions?" to be sure everything was going well. I shocked my head "no". 

I checked the time "come on, we better get to class. We got potions". We started to walk fast to potions, we got in the classroom and sat down on our places just before Professor Slughorn started speaking.

~ Vicky's POV ~

I sat on my place next to Severus, he was my partner. Behind me sat my brother and behind Severus sat Black, they sat on the in the back of the class. My brother got lucky and got partnered up with his best friend, I bet they will make some explosions though this year. Unlucky me sat in front of them. I won't complain about Severus being my partner but I definitely will complain about sitting so close to James and Black, they are surely going to talk a lot and won't let concentrate. Poor me. And not to mention how much they hate Severus, and then James doesn't want him to be near me. Poor Sev. 

And how right was I! James and Black did make an explosion. How? We were supposed to make such a simple potion! I don't even want to think about what will happen when we will do really advance potions. "Idiots" I muttered so nobody would hear me. "I highly agree," Severus said who had heard me. I gave him a simple smile. There wasn't really much time left of class so Slughorn just let us go early.

~ Vicky's POV ~

"Class is finished," Professor McGonagall said and (almost) the whole class ran out of the classroom as fast as they could. But Lily and I took our time, and when every student had left Lily asked Professor McGonagall a really advanced question (that I completely didn't understand) while I just stood in the doorway waiting for my best friend. When McG had answered Lily questions did Lily 'understood' all three of us walked slowly to the great hall, but not to slow so McG wouldn't become suspicious. 

When we walked into the great hall we were welcomed by noises, animal noises ... or I would rather call it baby animal noises. Well, you see... Lils and I turned the Slytherings into baby snakes, the Ravenclaws into young birds that couldn't fly, the Hufflepuffs into baby badgers and Gryffindors into kittens. We weren't actually going to pull this prank on all the Hogwart students, just my brother and his friends. But then we found out that it would be rather difficult to make sure it was only them who got turned into kittens, so we decided to make every Hogwart student turned into a baby animal to show my brother and his friends that they are not the only ones who can pull a good prank.

I just faked a surprised face and so did Lily, luckily for us both us were pretty good at acting. The heads of the houses were trying their best to gather their students but failed miserably. "Girls, could you come over here and help," McG asked us. I quickly replied "sure Professor" with my innocent voice before we went over to help McG.

~ James POV ~

I sat in the great hall eating lunch with Moony, Wormtail and Padfoot. But the food did tase a bit weird today... it is probably just me wondering were my sister and Evans are. 

"Prongs! Look around you!" I heard Wormtail whisper shout. I took a look around me; Slytherings were turned into baby snakes, the Ravenclaws into young birds that couldn't fly and the Hufflepuffs into baby badgers. What!? Who did this? Oh wait, I know. Why did I even ask?  I looked back at Wormtail expecting to see him but to my surprise, I saw a brown, chubby kitten. Where Moony was supposed to sit, was a grey kitten with a few scars. And where Padfoot was supposed to be, sat a pitch-black kitted, then it started to mjau. I burst out laughing. What a wonderful prank! All the Gryffindors expect me were turned into kittens. 

Who knew my sister was capable of this? (Wow. Honestly, what a dumb question.)  Wait, Evans and Sis are together like all the time... Was she a part of this too? The Lily Evans who hates pranks? No way! But if Vicky talked Evans to pull a prank on whole Hogwarts ... then she might talk her into giving me a chance! 

Suddenly I got a weird feeling in my stomach, a simular feeling to when I am transforming into a stag. but this time I was transforming into a kitten agains my own will. Oh Merlin ...
