Chapter 10:Invisible

Dakota started up at the ceiling already knowing that the alarm was gonna go off.

Dakota walked out of the showers. The school showers. She knew that they couldn't live like this forever. But she didn't think that Archie would find out that they as living at the school.

Archie walked into their 'room'. He looked around noticing a made-shift bed and a few things cleared out of space for a second bed.

"How long?"

Jughead looked down the hallways to see if Dakota was showing up any time soon
"How long?"

"We have been here since the drive in closed. That's where we were living before"

Archie stood up

"Why hell are both of not at home?"

"Things aren't good at home"

Archie picked up a random object looking at before putting it down
"With your dad?"

"Yeah. He kinda fell off the wagon. After your dad fired him. He hasn't had a job since. He keeps promising he is gonna get his act together. But my mom couldn't take that roller coaster anymore so she grabbed Jellybean and went to go live with my grandparents"

Dakota ran down the hallway just as the bell rung.
"Jughead close the door. Hey Archie. Wait...Archie?"

Jughead closed the door
"Oh god jug Kota why didn't you tell me? Where did your dad think you are?"

"He couch surveying"

"Screw that. Live with me."

Jughead gestured his hand to the closet
"It's temporary. Man. I'm gonna figure something out. I can't just let Dakota live like this-"

Dakota jumped behind them wrapping her arms around their necks which considering the height difference was difficult
"Don't forget about yourself"

Dakota was off the ground hanging from them

Jughead rolled his eyes
"Ok get off me"

Before jughead starting whispering
"Don't tell anybody. Especially Betty."

Archie looked around
"Betty she's not gonna care. If anybody is gonna be a snob about it maybe Veronica."

Jughead looked to the side
"Well exactly don't tell her either"

Before walking away

Dakota stopped Archie
"Seriously Arch don't tell anyone"

"My mom and dad don't want to get get the police involved. They don't want anybody to know that she ran away. Or about her 'shameful condition'

"What decade is this?"

"I also think that since she knew her Jason's get away car. Their afraid that people might think that she burned it. And if she did-"

Jughead finished
"She'd be the murder. Trying to cover her traces"

Archie questioned
"Well who did burn the car then?"

"It's possible someone as following us"

"Oh my god. Honestly guys we should just move"

Dakota laughed just what me and jug need

"What if Polly really hurt? What if whoever killed Jason is after Polly?"
