Zombie Apocalypse- Ballerina Bagels

Chapter 4

Kristen looked around at all the frantic/lunatic people running around and screaming through cell phones. She thought it was ridiculous. Why are people so freaked out? Its only zombies. She sighed as she sat down with Dominik, Gabby, Falapo, Zach, Ravyn, Kevin, and Grayson.

"So, Kit and Kat are on their way?" Dominik asked.

Kristen nodded "Hopefully they dont drive through the City, that place is probably packed with zombies!"

"Why do you call them that?" Gabby asked.

"What? Would you rather me call them dickeaters?"

"Uh, no"

"Well then they're zombies" Kristen declared.

"Zach, did you call Wyatt, Adam and Zane yet?" Gabby questioned her husband.

"Adam didnt pick up, Wyatt's phone is off and Zane said the zombies didnt reach Missouri yet" Zach responded.

Gabby groaned "Ugh now I have to worry about Adam and Wyatt!"

"They should be fine, they only live a half an hour away. That means they'll be evacuated here soon." Zach reassured.

Kristen looked at Dominik with hope  "Did you call Lia and Damon?"

Dominik nodded "Lia didn't pick up and Damon said he would be careful"

Kristen blinked in response. Damon lived in Indiana with his girlfriend Chloe, while Lia went to college in Michigan so she lived two hours away. "Let's talk about candy" Kristen suggested to her friends. They all nodded in agreement and so a deep discussion about what candy is made of took place in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. After 20 minutes on that topic they were interrupted by a loud scream coming from a pregnant lady. They all turned their heads to see the lady clenching her fists to her side and grasping her armpit as it bled open from a zombie bite. The zombie that bit her then crouched down next to her and started tearing into her preggo tummy. The lady screamed in agony as she slowly died. It took a few moments of shock to kick in before everyone jumped into action. The police started shooting randomly as more and more people turned into dickeaters. A police officer rushed over to Kristen's gang with a chilled look. "Yo homies! Y'all gotta get yo asses out of here!" he instructed.

They all smiled as they recognized him. "Captain Ghetto Pirate!" Kristen yelled.

CGP smiled at her which showed off some of his golden teeth. "Yo ma nigga! You should seriously run! I can give some of ya a ride in my super fast police car if you'd like."

Kristen bit her lip in thought "But my kids are suppose to come here"

"Oh shit" CGP muttered.

"Can't we just call them again and tell them change of place?" Dominik suggested in a hurry as more and more people turned.

"Nah man, that ain't gonna work, the cable services got shut down from being eaten alive" CGP explained.

"Fuck" Gabby cursed as she sadly stroked her phone.

"I can hide upstairs until your kids come and then give them a ride" CGP said.

"Okay. Where should we meet up at? " Kristen asked.

" Um, well if y'all drive upstate there's a really secure camp ground that's really isolated from people."

"Whats it called?"

" The Gangsta Grounds. I use to go there as a kid " CGP explained.

Everyone nodded then dodged their way through the zombies and to the parking lot.  "So, this is where we part ways?" Ravyn asked.

"Apparently" Zach said.

They all looked down in silence. Then Kristen looked up and smiled "Well... Bye losers! Race ya too the camp!" She challenged.

"Okay, but who's sharing cars?" Gabby questioned.

"Ugh. I guess me, Dominik, Ravyn and Kevin. And then Gabby and her family. " Kristen compromised. Everyone agreed. Kristen and her group jumped into her rapist van with great ease. Kristen slid her shades on (even though it wasn't even sunny out) and stomped her foot down on the gas pedal .

Lia let out a warrior cry as she swung the metal baseball bat at the zombie's head. It smashed into the corpse's skull making a crunching sound as blood and brains splattered everywhere. Lia gagged at the sight. Her and Wyatt were the only students left alive at the University of Michigan. "Nice job Lia" Wyatt praised her with a genuine smile. Lia smiled back. Her and Wyatt became best friends when they found out they both went to the same college (so about 4 years ago). Lia and Tobias secretly dated for 6 months until their parents found out and forced them to stop seeing each other since it was illegal.

"Um Lia, we should like run" Wyatt exclaimed as he pulled her along side him. Lia looked down at the contact between her and Wyatt. He was touching her arm! She never really over thought their physical contact but now she couldnt stop thinking about it. Wyatt was pretty hot, he had beautiful, big brown eyes, curly brown hair and an amazing muscle structure. Wait why is she thinking about this!? They were in the middle of a zombie apocalypse!

"You okay Lia?" Wyatt asked with concern.

Lia snapped back into reality with her cheeks bright pink. She had to improvise and think of some other excuse. "Y-yeah I was just um.... Thinking of drugs and puppies!" She blurted out.

Wyatt chuckled "That's an interesting combination" he remarked.

Lia laughed awkwardly "Yup totally!" She said loudly.

"Lia, be quiet" Wyatt scolded as he put his middle finger to her lips.

Lia looked at him with dreamy eyes "O-Okay" She whispered.

Wyatt smiled in satisfaction "Good." he said and then something burst through the door of the room they were in.
