Woo Jiho is a popular boy in school. From a faraway distance you'd assume he has countless amounts of friends. Which, he does. He talks to anyone and everyone and it makes him anxious to not know someone.

Jiho does not like his home. He does all he can to get away from home. He stays after school to help teachers, joins any sport he can, helps with most after school activities, and purposely gets bad grades on either homework assignments or tests so he can stay after school for "extra help". When it's the weekends, or its a long break such as summer break, winter break, or spring break he stays at friend's houses. He also has a job at a local coffee shop and his work schedules are on the days when he doesn't have sports or other activities. He works later than everyone else which gives him a better pay. He is so busy all the time and has so much friends that he never needs to go home. And when he does, which is very rare, he is scared. He tries to hide himself and sneakes through the house late at night so no one will find him.

People always wonder why Jiho never takes a break. Why he never sits and calms down. Teachers and counsellors try to talk to him, saying he's overworked and that taking a break for once in a while is okay. He always ignores them. Even his friends try to convince him that maybe laying down watching tv, playing some games, or just sleeping is fine and good for his health. He doesn't like to disappoint his friends so he either does all those things at their house or whenever he has small breaks during work so he can talk about tv shows with them. He doesn't want to be left out in a conversation. It makes him feel like he'll lose them.

He's always stressed and anxious. Nothing ever seems to calm him down. Everyone has some kind of escape from their stress. Jiho has nothing. He's scared of making the wrong move, not making a good plan, or losing a friend.

His planner each day looks something like this

Jiho's planner

Monday:

5:25: wake up, do makeup, get dressed, eat, get in car with Kyung

5:45: Get to parade marching practice early, you're the trumpet's section leader

6:00-6:50: parade marching practice

3:00-4:00: Art club

4:00-5:00: Film club

5:00-7:00: Baseball practice

7:10-11:00: Work at the tea shop, help close down tea shop

11:00 to tomorrow: Stay at Kyung's house again.

Kyung is Jiho's best friend. He's that friend where he goes to his house so often that his mom treats him as if he's her own child. Kyung is the only one that knows about what happens when Jiho actually goes home. So Kyung always lets Jiho over, unless something really important is happening.

Everyone is concerned about Woo Jiho's health. But he doesn't want help. He just likes the feeling of being important, always. He's always optimistic when the world around him should be pushing him to do the opposite. Its exhausting, but it's what makes him feel like he's helping. It makes him feel alive, and he loves it.

Woo Jiho doesn't have time for a relationship. But something about Lee Taeil's voice made his heart shudder. He didn't know a song could affect him to this extent and now more than ever he realizes, that a relationship sounds so sweet right now. Maybe that could be his release from stress? Holding someone else in his arms and muttering sweet nothings in their ear. He wants it to be Lee Taeil. Lee Taeil's voice swept everything away even for just a few minutes. He wants that voice to be the one to mutter "I love you,"
Or to call out his name, his voice not filled with sadness, but with love. But Woo Jiho doesn't know Lee Taeil. If anything he's never heard that name at all. Who is Lee Taeil?
