All we ever do is say goodbye
To the troubles that lie
Deep in our minds
Resort to the worst
We give in
To all that hurts
Let it take us
And control us
Have it do to us
What it does to so many
There are those out there
Who do this They hurt themselves
They never tell Until it is too late
There are those out there
Who are willing to help
To help us heal
Get us back onto our feet And open our eyes so we can see
The goodness in life
The joy that’s in love
The happiness that we strayed from
Now we look back at what we have done
And realize…we weren’t the only ones
