He continued to sit by her bedside and waited for any sign of movement from her. Still nothing.
He stood up and began to pace the room.
"What do you want me to do, huh? I'm sorry for everything. I'm sorry for lashing out at you. I'm sorry for making you cry and I'm sorry that you even had to go through this," he yelled skywards, hoping that she would hear him. "Sunhee, I want to make things right."
"You said my name." A beaming Sunhee appeared before him.
"That's all it took?" Jungkook looked at her in utter disbelief. "Why didn't I think of that weeks ago." He facepalmed himself and set Sunhee off giggling.
"Sorry for laughing, but I'm so happy that you finally called for me. I've been trapped in that place for far too long."
"Kookie..." Her astral body once again became distorted; she was only coming through in waves.
"Sunhee..." He stepped towards her only to stop when she started to flicker more. "What are you saying? I can't understand you."
"I said I... Can't hold... On much longer."
He understood her words somewhat and his eyes widened. She can't hold on much longer, what does that mean? Was it almost her time to move on? He didn't want that.
"Sunhee, what can I do? Tell me, so I can save you."
"I don't... Know." Her words came out incompleted and she couldn't form proper sentences. "I... Love... You." Then she disappeared again.
Damn it! She slammed her fist on the floor and hunched over. Why can't she stay in astral form longer? She had finally communicated with Jungkook and then this happens.
Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! She pulled at her hair in frustration and screamed. There was no one there to hear her cries of anguish.
One thing was becoming clear, she was now too far gone to save.
