Draco😉: So our date tonight I thought since we haven't really done anything just causal I thought we could go for a nice dinner ?

But the thing Hermione didn't know was that Draco actually had a question that he bad been debating for a little while now and that was , would she want to be my girlfriend?.

He wasn't sure why he wanted to ask her , he knew it was early but he felt like it was the right time , or was it ? Draco isn't one to let down his walls down so easily and be so vulnerable as to ask a girl a question like that and not knowing how she'll react to it, he likes to be in control.

Draco had just got to the manor and was greeting Tilly when his mother shouted him "oh is that you Draco ?","yes mother" Draco replied walking into a surprisingly messy living room.

" mother what's going on?" As Draco looked at the items he recognised some of the items.

" well Draco dear em, me and Tilly decided it was time to clear out Lucius's things as he will no longer be needing them" although Draco loathed his father he still had that pang of sadness whenever his mother talked about him and he knew his mother felt it too , the sadness he felt was aimed more towards his mother at least that's what he told himself.

"Oh okay , tell me if you need any help"
Draco had seen the surprised and look of sadness in his mother's face but he just continued past his mother and sat at the dining table waiting for lunch to be served, it wasn't long until his mother joined him and shortly after Tilly and a few other house elf's brought in lunch and him and his mother quietly ate until his mother asked him a question that he didn't really know the answer to.

"So what's going on between you and Mrs Granger ?".

"What do you mean mother ?"

" oh don't play dumb I do have the internet and you know I'm on the gram sometimes and I've seen the pictures of you two, Mrs Granger is very pretty I must say would make lovely babies, wide hips aswell , easy birth."

"Mother! One, please don't ever say the 'Gram' again and two ,please can you not start talking about me and Hermione having children when we don't even go out , that would be much appreciated"

" I mean Draco dear I'm just wanting to be prepared , you have to make sure you keep the Malfoy bloodline going."

" yes yes mother I know you say this every time I come over , we don't need to rush everything and I promise you I will keep the bloodline going just you know, not too soon please."

" okay then I will let you off the hook for the now but you still haven't answered my question what is actually going on between you and Mrs Granger ?"

"Ahem, ehh well I don't know mother , I know I like her and I think she's like me aswell but I'm not getting my hopes up tho."

Draco looked at the clock to notice it was 5.30.

" sorry mother I hadn't realised the time I must go or i'm going to be late" Draco quickly got up hugged and kissed his mother and was just about to leave when his mother shouted to him.

"tell Hermione I said hello "

Hermione checked the clock and groaned in frustration it was 5.45 and she was still at work , she had been given documents to sort out for a meeting the next day and was not expecting them to take this long and she knew she could not use magic as last time she tried that she ended up sorting everything alphabetically then shrunk then to about the size of a fingernail,so manual it is.

Hermione quickly pulled on a pair of black tights, a black and white polka dot dress and her black flats and quickly grabbed her jacket and left her house.

" oh of course it would be raining , what else could go wrong tonight" Hermione quickly threw her jacket over her head to protect her from the rain and made a run for it , thankfully the restaurant was only a few minutes from her house , so to not be even more late Hermione dived down an alley that came out just infront of the restaurant and quickly texted Draco.

Draco was sitting at the table that was luckily sat beside the front table but was starting to worry that Hermione wasn't joking about standing him up , until he got a text to his phone.

Hermione💗: look out the window , I'm here!x

As Draco looked up , there she was running down the alley with her gorgeous smile on her face , which made Draco also smile, something most people couldnt do but his smile was instantly wiped from his face as Hermione face changed from one of happiness to one of horror just as a large van flew her forward.
