Hello again, Lin here! I wish you all a very good day/night. In case no one has told you yet today, you're beautiful, keep smiling. <3

This morning I woke up to the sound of unfamiliar traffic outside my window. My house had 3 floors to it now in comparison to the 2 it used to have, me being on the middle floor with my bay window facing the main road outside.

With a groan, I flipped onto my side as my arms extended out to grab in the general direction of where I remember my phone being shoved in last night.

To no surprise, there was quite a lot of notifications from friends and even some family asking how I was or wishing me a good morning. I flicked through some notifications until I landed on one, my finger lingering above it for a moment before swiping to the left, opening it up on my phone and typing up a response.

At the time I took those words as a joke, laughing them off and placing my phone to the side, refusing the build up of emotions that tried desperately to make me realise that this person was more than just my friend.

I've known him for years now, his name is Jimin. We go to school together, but he's in the year above from me since he's older. That doesn't effect our friendship though, we still hang out at lunch, crack jokes and hang out with friends. We may have only known each other for a year and a half but we were bonded so tightly already.

Anyways, I loosen myself up a bit, my back clicking from the discomfort of sleeping on the floor - but it was only for tonight so I suppose I shouldn't complain.

So, it was off to my friend's house I went, knowing this'd be a long day as we went shopping for your basic back to school stuff. Majority of the time we spent was messing around with things and in the end we usually came out with a new bag and a pack of about 20 pens - that's all you really need in high school to be honest.

"Hey, Jimin."

"Come in, Kook, my mum is gonna drop us off on her way to work," My pink-haired friend let me know.

I nodded and smiled as I saw said woman behind the small - yet older - male, waving and saying a bit louder, "Hello Mrs.Park!"

His mother sent back the same smile, though with a warm glow spreading across her features as she spotted her son's best friend, beckoning for him to sit down and saying, "I'll only be a few minutes and then we'll go on out, okay?"

We both agreed and went to go plant ourselves on the couch. I wasn't too bothered by the walk here, our houses were quite near so there was no issue in getting from one to the other.

"How's your new dad?" Jimin asked, his tone presumably going up in a teasing way at the word 'dad'.

I gently kicked him since he was sat a little bit further away from me and groaned, closing my eyes and resting my head on the arm of the velvet furniture, "You mean my step-douche? Fan-fucking-tastic, why do you ask?"

It was me who received a kick this time, the elder boy rolling his eyes as he scolded me, "How many times do I have to tell you not to swear? You may be older now but you're still younger than me."

"Only by one year."

"Still younger."

"Well, I'm taller."

"I can clearly see that, you giant."

"Shortie."

"Respect me, baby!"

We both burst out laughing at each others words and soon enough it was time to go, Jimin's mother now ready to leave for work.

Shuffling into the car, I was sat in two of the three seats in the back of the car while Jimin's mother drove us - of course. The short guy insisting that he, "wouldn't want his friend stuck sitting on his own", but I just saw it as his excuse to try and provoke a reaction out of me as he started cracking jokes or annoying me like I usually do to him.

This was going to be a long, long day...

But then again, long days can be nice sometimes.

Especially when spent with a boy name Jimin, Park Jimin.
