It had been about an hour since the whole incident with Taehyung and Jungkook was a little bit more composed now, clearing his throat as he now stood in the doorway to the living room where the two families were situated, looking over at his mother with expectant eyes and she caught onto what that meant almost instantly.
"Darling, the Kim family are going to be staying over here tonight, I don't want them sleeping in their house until it's properly furnished you see. You don't mind sharing your room with Taehyung do you?"
Jungkook was... Terrified. The thought of having Taehyung so much as in his house right now was frightening to him, now he'd have to let that guy stay in his bedroom!
"Yeah, it's cool, just so long as he doesn't snore," Jungkook tried to laugh it off and pretend everything was all rainbows and sunshine, when really his heart was racing with fear and his teeth were tightly gritted together.
After some time, Mrs. Jeon came back to the family table, with Jungkook following behind her like a lost puppy.
They both sat down across Taehyung and his family on the other side of the table. And even tho Taehyung still didn't look up, he knew that Jeongguk was sitting there.
He wasn't completely sure tho. He was busy scrolling on his phone, his hand searching for the cup that was placed onto the dark wooden table.
After a successful grab, he placed the edge of the cup towards his soft lips and threw his head back, drinking the fresh water. But somehow the cup had slipped and suddenly all of the water, instead of going down his throat to his empty stomach, slipped down his left cheek, down to his jawline, neck and finally his long sleeved sweater.
The left side of his sweater was fully soaked in water, which made him push himself, with the chair, back, making a really annoying sound echo trough everyone's ears.
Quickly placing the cup down in front of him, he bent down and tried to wipe off the water off his face with the back of his hand.
Also let me tell you, that the girls would've done anything to see him in such state. Yes, he was known as the weirdo, but he was pretty handsome. Just it was that the girls didn't want to get judged because they were near the, so called, 4D alien.
Taehyungs eyes had shifted up, to only find a pair of innocent brown doe eyes looking back at him.
Jungkook has been minding his own business, trying his very best to avoid the icy haired male sitting opposite him, swinging his legs under the table and keeping his hands rested in his lap so they weren't on the table since his mother always told him that it was disrespectful manners - that and he was also trying to make himself as invisible as possible from Taehyung.
As he heard some shuffling and then a strangely intriguing whining sound, Jungkook averted his eyes too look up to where the sound resonated from, absolutely bewildered by what he was seeing.
How could someone who'd been so intimidating not long ago all of a sudden be so... stupid?
Despite what happened earlier, Jungkook couldn't help but begin to laugh as he saw that it looked like the elder had pissed himself, leaning back in his chair and holding his stomach, eyes closed and head thrown back as his shoulders shook whilst he held back tears of laughter.
Taehyung suddenly heard a faint laugh coming from across the table. His eyes turned into slits as he glared at the one who was laughing at him.
Why does he always make himself look so stupid in front of him?
He was about to take off the sweater he had on, as it was uncomfortable since it was drained on one side, until he heard someone beside him clear their throat forcefully. His head shot over and that's when he met the cold eyes of his own father.
