warning: you guys are going to hate me. I love you all.

Three weeks.

It had been three weeks since I heard anything from Jacob, anything about where they could have been and ever since Violet's body was found.

After Jacob called, everyone began trying to trace the call. It came up to be a burner phone that had been disposed of about 3 miles away from my home.

I paced the living room, I thought about what his next move would be. I knew him. Better than Jace. I knew the psychopath Jacob. I knew what he was capable of and how far he was willing to go.

Jace and William began to ask my questions but every single one of them went into ear and out the other as I thought about someone who he would begin this game with.

I gasped and immediately ran outside and into my car. The two right behind me and they quickly entered the car as I reversed and sped towards the complex I knew so well.

When I pulled into the parking lot of the apartment complex and immediately found the car that I was looking for.

She wasn't inside and it didn't look like she had a struggle in her car... maybe she was OK.

I went to door, on the fourth floor, third apartment on the left and knocked gently.

"Vi?" I called but received no answer. My heart began to speed up as I touched the handle and it turned. Walking into the apartment, tears came to my eyes.

Blood was splattered everywhere. The kitchen had mulptiple bloody handprints and drag marks, the living room, a puddle of blood. I heard a small whimper from upstairs and ran towards it.

In the bathroom, laying in the bathtub was Violet. She was covered in multiple stab wounds, all deep.

She was barely breathing.

"Violet, I'm so sorry. I'm sorry. I didn't mean for this to happen to you." I said to her as I tried to move her. She shook her head and moaned in pain.

"Not... your... fault." She said. She reached for my hand and squeezed it. "I love you."

She died right after saying that.

I was furious at the fact that someone so innocent had been involved in his little game. I knew he was watching and I couldn't wait until he dies. The want for his death is something that I have never experienced before. He killed Henderson, attempted to kill Tanya, he's kidnapped my aunt and daughter and on top of that, he's threatening to kill Maddie. Everything was starting to get to me and the next thing I knew, my first went through the mirror and I let out a scream.

I wanted everything back to normal. I wanted my daughter. I wanted to sleep in my bed with Will and wake up to him kissing my forehead and looking at me with love in his eyes... I wanted that back.

The door was thrown open and William looked panicked for a second before looking at me with sad eyes. Blood dripped down from my knuckles and onto the tile but I didn't care.

He grabbed the first aid kit and gently began taking out the glass and cleaning the cuts. Once I was bandaged, he wrapped his arms around me.

I cried into his chest.

"I want my baby back. I want her back, Will." I cried to him. He squeezed me tightly into him but said nothing as he and his entire department had been trying to find something that would lead them to Jacob or even Mackenzie and Kathryn. But everything was a dead end. This time, he was covering his tracks.
