Echs Sophomore Edition

After the freshman year, I got pretty much warmed up to ECHS, there was no going back. I started loving my new life, and it will definitely take a lot to take that love away.

First things first, summer bridge. In all honesty there was not much memory from this time. All i remember was, I got my summer hw for my sophomore classes. And the other thing which was the anti-sexual assault lesson thing at tjc. So that was it.

Now, the actual school year started out confusing. From the freshman year, I had a little squad consisting of mostly me, Araceli, and Jakayla. In my opinion, this year was the year my friendship switched around like crazy.

In the beginning, Jakayla drifted from our group. She completely stopped hanging out with me and araceli. We were actually so confused, but we worked it out by moving on.  Jakayla moved on from us quite well, and we were cool with each other, NO BEEF NOR TEA. At least JAKAYLA and I ended up being chill, good friends kinda thing.

SO LUNCH TABLE. In the end, we ended up sitting in a table at lunch consisting of these people: Me, araceli, leticia, judith, Israel, jenny, and SURPRISINGLY jakayla. Turns out, the table squad was their best option too.

OUR TABLE WAS LOCATED OUTSIDE NEXT TO THE TREE AND INFRONT OF THE COLLAB ROOM BTW not that the info was necessary but OKAY MOVING ON WITH THE UPDATE

Academically, this year went on smoothly at first. Imma be honest, I "outsmarted" my teachers alot (a better term than "cheating" lmao). If I were to list the ones i "outsmarted" my teachers on: USHISTORY, ART APPRECIATION, HEALTH, SPANISH. (1st sem) SOCIOLOGY (2nd sem) lolz

Ik it is bAD but there was no way that JEWEL would actually "read" textbooks to do good on tests. BUT THEN AGAIN, thats what we're working on now cuz I'm sorta gonna need that skill in the future. I am also working on my common sense so I have some sort of legal last resort than just CHEATING.

However ON THE BRIGHT SIDE, I excelled on the others with my own ability. I am just not creative and smart enough lol.

As time progressed, our table started gaining people and losing people.

The first encounter was probably with Aiden. I should introduce his personality around this time tho it's quite interesting. aiden— i would say at that time we became friends because of his love interest but we never would have talked that much. He is an okay dude, outside, he is kind of an artsy boi, reserved but very conversational. Inside, I would say he is very loyal, uninterested, PERSISTENT, VERY PERSISTENT.

Anyway that was that, some time later when clubs started, Jenny and I attracted a few friends from the fish tank (freshman fish year) One named David, dude who joined us bc he was pursuing jenny and Gabriel, dude from the same club as me (drama club) and LEMME TELL U ABT THIS DUDE.

OkaY he would not leave the table. But tbh IT WAS OKAY. To me at least, but everyone else was so against him. I KNEW he was gonna get kicked out next sem, I KNEW he didn't have anyone else to hangout with. He is very talkative and i may have found him annoying in a low degree, but what I found most annoying was that everyone was pushing him away and was blaming me for his existence. It was a very ASSHOLEY move for them to do that. I won't point names bc I'm not about that life but CERTAIN ppl in the table.

Tbh I was so lowkey about this, due to respect and avoiding problems, but poor guy. The whole time, I worried about how he must've felt being pushed away like that. At some point I wanted to give him a hug but We arent close like that. He was cool, he was playful. Ig i was the only one who tolerated him as far as I know. I should have spoken up about this for justice, cuz poor Gabe was just tryna at least enjoy life at school. BUT YA KNOW SOME PPL DISCRIMINATE. (and I was too humble and distracted on keeping a good standing in my friendships) SO LONG GABE LOLZ
