"Aidan, please."

"I don't want glitter on my-"

"Aidan. I'm going to put glitter on your face."

"No, it's so hard to get off and-"

"Aidan!" She wiggled her glittery fingers. "This is going on your face! It's black! See! It's edgy!" She moved her hands towards my face and I held her wrists, laughing. We sat across from each other on her bed, the nightstand covered in makeup and glitter.

"Katelynnnnnnn, it takes so long to get it off."

"I'll help you!" she tried to free her wrists. "Aidannnn, you have to get the full experience. This is a Declan McKenna concert we're going to, the living breathing legend Declan McKenna is going to be less than one hundred feet away from us."

"Ugh, don't remind me."

"Oh, c'mon. Just gimme your perfect face so I can glitter it up." I started to argue, but she made the face. The cute face. The face that could probably get her anything she wanted from me.

I sighed. "Glitter me up, babe." She giggled and spread the glitter gel along my cheekbones. When she was done, she wiped the remaining glitter on a towel and held my face in her hands."Aidan, you look so indie, it's fantastic. It's beautiful. You're so perfect." She smiled and planted a quick kiss on my forehead. "I bet Declan will look into the audience and see my lovely boyfriend and fall in love, now, wouldn't that be wild?"

"That would be wild. That also would not happen."

She giggled, "Sh, sh, let me dream." Katelyn smiled. "You look so good. All the time. Always. Have I told you that I love you? Because I do- I really, really do."

She's precious. "I love you, too."

"AwwwwW- OKAY LET'S GO LET'S GO LET'S BE EARLY SO WE CAN GET EXTRA HYPE!" She opened the drawer of her nightstand and swiped everything in before slamming it shut and taking my hands. "Tonight. Will be fantastic - a night you won't forget."

I looked into her her eyes and smiled. "I wouldn't want to experience it with anyone else."
