Setting my shoes and coat in the closet, I walked toward the living room. "Hyung?" I called out as I gingerly plodded into the kitchen, "What's for dinner?"

"I'm feeling like comfort foods tonight. How's that with you?"

"Ooh! That sounds good!" I smiled before turning on my heel and heading over to the couch. I yanked the blanket off the back of the couch and draped it over myself lazily. With a yawn I rested my cheek against the soft fabric of the arm rest, wrapping my arms around myself in a hug.

Hyung was shuffling in the kitchen, I could hear him pulling stuff out of the fridge and cupboards. I could almost guess what he was making.

"Hyung?"

"Yes Taetae?"

"If I can guess what you're making, can I get a kiss?" I slowly brought myself upright, and peeked over the couch. Once I saw the macaroni noodles, I knew I was going to win. Slyly, I pretended I hadn't seen them, by sitting further down into the couch.

"Sure. But no looking. Shoot your guess." His voice sounded triumphant, like I would never be able to guess. Little did he know I was a good cheater.

"Is it macaroni and cheese?" I called out to hyung innocently. He sighed in defeat and trudged out from the kitchen.

"How do you always know?" With a quick lean down, we met in a kiss. His silver locks tickled at my forehead and I chuckled softly as we parted.

"Joonie," I reached up to pull him in for a hug, "How is it you're so different at home than from work?"

He obliged my want for embrace and squeezed me tightly. "You know Taehyung, it's solely so that the other instructors don't think anything wrong of us working together. It doesn't have anything to do with how much I love you, if that's what your beautiful mind is wandering towards."

Hyung kissed the top of my head lovingly and ruffled my hair before receding back to the kitchen to finish preparing dinner. I curled up on the couch, lost in my thoughts.

The gala, my performance, our relationship. It's all surreal. A year ago when I began the piano lessons, it was only to prove a point to Jungkook that I could do it too. But here I am now, in a loving relationship, and also skilled at playing the piano. I guess it was just plain luck from those stars I wished on.

"So how's your roommate?"

"Jungkook he isn't my roommate. He's my boyfriend. It's more than that!"

"Oh come on Tae, spill some details!"

"My relationship is none of your business! The only thing I will let you know is that I'll be performing at the nation's gala, and on the piano."

"Whoa what?! Are you kidding me!?"

"Oh Kookie, I have to go! Dinner is ready! I'll talk to you later."

"No don't, waIT TELL M-"

"Talking to Jungkook finally?" Namjoon raised a brow from where he sat at the table across from me. I couldn't help but shake my head and chuckle.

"Finally? It has been a while hasn't it? The last time I spoke to him was when I got news of the gala... So almost a year ago?" I stuffed my mouth with macaroni. It tasted so good I let out an audible 'mmm', which had hyung grinning at me, his dimples deep in his cheeks.

"You know Taehyungie, that performance is in a few days. Do you feel ready?" Hyung shifted the atmosphere with one question.

It took me a long while of thought. Afterall, I had been training consistently. But every day he had to help me with my posture and my expression. Was I really ready?

I didn't want to disappoint him, so I nodded my head and I swallowed the food in my mouth. "I think so. Also, I want to thank you for training me so much, it means the world to me. I just feel bad I'm not paying you for it..."

"Don't you worry about that. I wouldn't have ever asked you to anyways. But on a lighter note, I'm glad you're feeling confident." He reached across the table and clasped my open hand, "I'm certain you'll do great."
