Chapter 2 - the new guy

EMILYS POV

As soon as I saw him I hid behind my car but what was strange was he was with a two guys I had never seen before.

I just stayed there till they past.

I mean not that I didn't want to see Nash. We used to be best friends, but he became popular and we grew apart I guess or the fact he left.

Then the bulling came in. I mean he doesn't really bully me. He just watches and has a frown most of the time.

"So, yeah, that's Emily's house," I heard Nash say to the boys.

"Is that the one you like?" One of the boys asked Nash.

The one he likes?

"Uhh.. Well.. I-I do.. Sort of.. I don't really know.. It's complicated," he says sounding if it was life or death situation.

He likes me? NASH GRIER LIKES ME? Someone likes me?..

"Matt, why would you ask that when he already told you this?" The other guy said.

So I got one guys name down.

"Well he just answered a simple question at his house, but he's stuttering just looking at her house and he just stares at it like being on a sugar high.. So just wondering," I guess Matt said.

What if he really does have feelings for me? I mean one day he told me he loved me and that was before he became all popular and just watched me get bullied everyday.

It was the night after we played one-on-one basketball. My favorite sport.

FLASH BACK

"I'm gonna get you Watson," he said.

About 5 seconds later he took the ball and through it on the grass and went over to me and said," I love you Emily, I'm sorry for this big mistake.." He said then ran off.

FLASH BACK OVER

Now when ever he sees me he looks away fast. It's seems like he's shy and has never meet me in my entire like. Oh my god. I need him back, but it might not work.

Then all of a sudden I feel a tap on my shoulder.. It was Nash and his two friends. Nash helped me up and gave me a big hug. I was confused right about now and he could tell.

I saw tears go down his face. The two boys left when he started.

Then he said," I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! I have missed you way too much and I need you!"

Then he.. Kisses me? Umm. Why did I kiss back?

After about what felt like forever we let go I have him a hug and said," I should've never let you, let me go.."

NASH POV

Oh my god. I'm happier than the happiest person in the world right now. I don't care. My friends at school can bully me but as long as I got Emily with me it's okay.

I feel so stupid for leaving her last her. Just to become popular. I'm so selfish sometimes.

I've always had a crush on Emily. But it always seemed like she had a crush on a guy named Hayden.

I was crushed when he asked her on a date and she said yes.

But that night I got a message from Justin telling me to leave Emily to be popular.

Worst choice of my life.

So I decided to text her while she was on her 'date'.

N=Nash

E=Emily

N- Want to play some one-on-one tomorrow?

E- YESS! What time?

N- How about 6?

E- Sounds good! Goodnight Nash.

Before I could respond I fell asleep from the crying of when she told me she was going on a date with him.
