Clays perspective of that night
Tony was still worried when we got in the car. Now that Clay has cried a bit Tony is now more stressed out then he was before. Tony and Clay friendship are so close. They saw each other like brothers.
Tony wanted to ask what was wrong with Clay and why he's been acting up but he knows that Clay wouldn't answer his question right away so he figured...Clay would just come out and say it by himself without needing help.
Clay "I trust you right"
Tony "yes...Clay what's wrong"
Clay "I'm not sure if I'll be able to say it"
Tony "if you don't want to tell me it's fine but just know it's going to get better what ever your going through"
Clay "but I don't know if time can help me on this"
Tony "well what's wrong then?"
Clay "well...me and Justin kissed a few days back...but I'm not sure if he likes me back...he's such a huge player and I don't know if I should stop or keep flirting back with him"
Tony "I'm not good at advice like this but what ever kind of feelings you have towards him...I'm sure he feels them too"
Clay was focusing on the window as the car was leaving. Clay knew that Justin had felt something too. Maybe I'm just a control freak...Clay thought more of the situation.
Clay "I shouldn't freak out like that huh?"
Tony "well I can't tell you to feel a certain emotion...we all have our own opinions on things and it just depends how we react to it...what ever feels right to you"
Clay was still looking out the window of the car noticing that Justin was looking out of the bedroom window starring at the car leaving him.
Tony took Clay on a hike so they can talk more about Clays feelings and over all just chill admiring the tress and mountains.
Clay was opening up to tony. Tony soaked up all the information like a sponge in water. Tony didn't question Clay because Clay would run off and feel embarrassed.
Clay "now you know everything...I just don't know what to do tony"
Tony "ask him out or ask him what you guys are"
Clay "it's hard you know...I have feelings towards him and I'm scared of rejection"
Tony "but it's better to clarify"
Clay wanted to end the conversation so he started walking deeper in the woods. Tony followed Clay and started talking about next school year.
Clay received a text from Justin. He glanced at his phone and showed Tony. Tony looked up at Clay
Tony "if you want to go...then go"
Clay "I'm nervous to see him...I don't think I wanna go just yet maybe later tonight"
Clay and tony are now walking back to Tony's car. Clay could feel his stomach growling for food. Tony heard Clays stomach. "You wanna go eat something...you hungry?"
"In n out?" Clay suggested giving tony a warm smile. Tony makes a u turn and heads to in n out. Clay loves the spread from in n out. It brings back memories of when he was younger and his mom would pick him up after school to go eat there.
Tony "yea can I have 2 double double combos"
Clay grabbed his wallet from the back pocket and toke money out of it. Clay trying to give money to Tony but Tony doesn't get it and pays for the both of them. "You can pay me back later" Tony smiled at Clay.
What Tony had just said gave Clay a flash back. A flash back when Clay was sucking Justin. That phrase "you can pay me back later" scar him for life now. All Clay can do now is just imagine him being with Justin
Tony "hey are you okay?"
Clay "yes I just remember something right now"
Tony "what is it?"
Clay "I don't want to say"
Tony grabs the fries and the drinks and hands them to Clay to set it down. Tony makes sure to get extra spread since he knew about Clays obsession with it.
Clay munches down and doesn't take a break to breath. Clay looks such like an animal while he's eating
Tony "hey slow down...I don't want you to choke"
Clay looks up at tony "mhhmhm" while gulping down his lemonade. Tony found how adorable Clay was. He adored how Clay can manage to do anything dorky or stupid while looking sweet and innocent. Clay didn't care about his image like Tony. Tony always tries so hard to creat a perfect image for himself so he can seem like a badass guy...but in reality he's super sweet and caring.
Tony "let's take you to that party now"
Clay "SHIT I DIDNT EVEN TEXT JUSTIN...HOLD UP"
Clay was typing as fast as he can and sent the message. Right when he sent it...he could see that Justin already read it.
Tony drove to Clays house so Clay can drive himself to the party since Tony doesn't really do parties. Clay quickly gets out of the car and waves goodbye to tony. He watches Tony drive away. Clay got his keys and drove off to the party
Clay didn't really expect anything wild happening in the party since Bryce doesn't show up to his teammates parties anymore ever since the whole Jessica and Hannah situation.
Clay opened the door and didn't think he would ever see Justin do something so stupid...Justin is kissing a girl. Clay looked at Justin's back looking at him as he's sitting back down on the grown. Clay catches Justin looking back and Clay leaves the party. Clay leaves quickly to go inside the car but Justin is already following him outside.
Clay tears up and asks "why...how could you?"
Justin "I know...I should have thought about it...that was a meaningless kiss you know that Clay"
Clay stares at Justin
Justin "I'm just too drunk to notice what I was doing"
Clay "why did you go to the party then?...you could have just stayed with me"
Justin "yes I know but I just wanted to have fun and invite you to the party"
Clay focusing on Justin while playing with his hands. "so what is this...am I only your little toy to play with when ever you need me"
Justin "no...you mean so much more than that Clay...I just don't know how to express my feelings towards you...you are the only guy/person that makes me feel in love"
Clay "can we just go back home to talk about this...I hate being in party's unless I'm actually having fun"
Justin kissing Clays cheek "yes sir"
Clay had to carry Justin to his room. Clay brought up some waters just in case either of them were thirsty. Clay lays Justin down on his bed and Clay gets inside with him snuggling him.
