"As if we'll enjoy our stay," says Ash.
Ash brings the volume of the radio to the maximum, he screams "WAKE UP YOU SLEEPY HEADS!"
Slowly, one by one, their heads rise from the table all energised and ready for an afternoon of problems.
"Here we are! At a dance company in trouble. Now, where's the owner of the dance company?" says Geneive.
The back door swings open. "Hello! Hello! Hello! Nice to meet you five. My name is Jodie and this is my dance company. We have prepared a small dance routine for you. Positions!"
The dancers assemble outside ready to dance. One by one, they sway to the beat, they then split into groups. The song was an old 50's Jazz song, the 5 had never heard of it but were brought in.
"Wow! What a wonderful performance," says Liz.
Amber pops in and says "WE HAVE A PERFORMANCE FOR YOU GUYS AS WELL! Come on guys lets dance!"
The others stop and are pushed in, into the spotlight by Amber. She puts on the song 'Party in the USA' by Miley Cyrus. Amber bounces around dancing, while the others are slowly swaying towards the rhythm, though, they still remained red. Amber is having the time of her life.
The song comes to an end; Amber finishes with a great pose, while the others finish in an ordinary position.
"Ok! I kindly would like to apologise on the behalf of Amber, we didn't actually have anything planned!" says Ash
Amber punches Ash in the arm and kindly smiles back at the Dance teacher ^.^
"Now, we would need to have a chat with you in your office about the Dance Company," says Liz.
"Sure, follow me." says the Dance teacher.
They all follow her into the dance area, quickly scanning the area, they go into the office.
"So, here's my problem. We don't have any money to make the rehearsal rooms 'pole-less' nor do we have enough money to move. Our current plan is to increase prices, and when possible, renovate the rooms." says the Owner.
"Right-o. I have already identified problems. 1. Your Dance Company is located in a low-interest dance area. 2. Your prices are too expensive. 3. Your staff have been receiving wages way too high than the average norm. And 4, you are not generating any money." says Amber.
"Wow- I never knew you could think so thorough!" says Ash.
"Keep your mouth shut"
"Gotcha. As you 5 are the bosses here, I'll leave the job to you. See ya!" the owner exits the office, and waves goodbye.
"Now. It's time!" says Liz.
The staff were given a wage meeting with Mark; they didn't respect the decision, but nonetheless, if they weren't going to respect it, they were out of the door. The prices were decreased by $20, and the classes were extended for half an hour. The 5, were also looking for a new location for the dance company.
"Hmm, there is a location downtown, at the price of $945,000... Do you think that's too expensive?" asks Mark.
"I reckon it's too expensive. I'm just gonna dial her and see what her budget is."
BEEP BOOP BOOP BEEP
"Yeah, hi. It's us the 5. We are just asking about your budget, we are interested in a property but we will need to know your budget." says Mark.
"Alright, so my current budget is set at 1 million dollars. This includes renovations, building costs etc."
"Yip, thanks."
While Mark and Ash work on finding a property best suitable for the company, Amber, Liz, and Geneive, look at the building.
"So. We can renovate the place, but that wouldn't do anything. There still won't be enough dance demand..."
"Yeah, as you can see, the building is quite old and showing its age."
"Hmm, we'll take that into consideration."
The time outside was already 7 pm and the 5 were ready to turn in for the night. They are set to venture out and solve the problem before the end of the week. It's already Wednesday, but at least they'll have a fresh start tomorrow!
"Ugh, this campervan is smaller than I expected!"
