*The next day after arriving at Tokyo*
Taking the train to Shinjuku, they arrive at one of the busiest train stations in the world. Greeted by many Japanese they venture out of one of the 200 exits heading towards the world-famous Shinjuku Crosswalk.
"I can't wait to be a part of this large block of crossing people! It'll be so cool to see so many people cross at once!"
"Same! This is gonna be awesome!"
The stoplights turn red, the officers located at each crossway allow the mob of people to cross the street.
"There are so many people! Hopefully, I don't get trampled."
At the blow of a whistle, people pause on the sidewalks. Those crossing the streets quickly run. The lights turn green and cars begin speeding away from the crosswalk.
"That was awesome! Now, where should we go?"
"Meiji Shrine? It's a good place to take pictures! Instagram-able."
"That sounds fun!"
"Let's go. Shall we?"
"Guys, I've looked it up it says we'll get there in around 30 minutes."
"That isn't too far! Excercise is great after a long flight."
While walking to Meiji Shrine, they walk through the many alleyways of Shinjuku. Each alleyway had a different kind of 'scene' to it. Each major street they crossed always had a mascot/anime character wondering the street. Of course, none of the 5 were obsessed with anime so they had no idea what these characters were. They trekked up a high hill at the hottest time of day. Sweating, they took frequent rests to avoid heat stroke.
"The weather in Tokyo is really hot! I don't know how the Japanese stay so calm about it. I even saw some wearing a jersey?!? How absurd!"
Arriving at the shrine, they are greeted by the scent of incense sticks. After passing through the entrance they see many tourists gathering around to watch a traditional wedding ceremony.
"Is this a real wedding or fake?"
"I just read it was real. All weddings here have to be 'real' or else they can't technically get married in here."
"Oh. I have to live-stream this! This is soo cool!"
The tree branches wave as a cool breeze of air brushes through the shrine. The cool crisp breeze cools the body of many wandering around the shrine.
"This is great weather! Well for me it is... It's so warm and feels just like a picture-perfect summer!"
"Seems like the wedding ceremony has finished. What else can we do around here?"
"I'm just going to go and discover the surrounding area. Who knows what I can find myself doing? See ya guys."
"Wait up! I'm coming!"
And then and there Amber and Geneive disappear off into the distance. The 3 other go on a food adventure.
"We should hail a taxi. Yeah?"
"To downtown Tokyo?"
"Yup. Let me try and get one."
"Semimasen, can you take us to anywhere in Tokyo?"
"Yes-su."
The taxi driver drives them down into Tokyo passing the Tokyo Skytree and several attractions.
"Today at around 5 or something like that, we should go to Disney. It's in Tokyo!"
"Mhmm. We haven't told Amber or Gen where we have gone. I'll give them a ring."
