First Day Of Senior Year

Clara's Pov
I woke up to a very loud knock on the door. "Clara, jack is waiting for you outside! Hurry up your gonna be late for your first day back" my mom yelled. "Ok tell him to pick us up some Krispy Kreme donuts, I should be ready when he gets back" I say to my mom while getting up and opening the door.

I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth and do my makeup. Then I head to my room and get dressed in some ripped jeans, a patterned shirt and some sandals. I curled my hair, grabbed my bag, and went downstairs to say goodbye to my mom.

I loved my mom for so many reasons but mainly because she inspires me to work hard. As I walk out I see Jack pulling in and smiling, he rolls down the window and screams "Senior year baby!" I laugh and get in the car. "I got you a donut and coffee" he says. I smile "thanks babe. You ready?" Jack nods and pulls off to go to school. I knew this would be the best year ever, or did I...

We pull in the school and it's a mixture of people yelling, blasting music, and others looking depressed for coming back to school, aren't we all?

After we park, we get out and I see the cheerleaders gawking at Jack as he walks around the car to go talk to our friends. Believe it or not I didn't like Jacks friend group the first time I met them, but I made some very very close friends.

"Hey Nate, get off my girl she's mine!" I say as I hug my best friend Ashlyn. Nate grins and shakes his head. "I haven't seen u since.. yesterday" Ashlyn says while giggling. I laugh "we have separation anxiety" I say.

Nate and Ashlyn are a couple who have been dating throughout highschool so when I need relationship advice I ask her. "Let's head inside" Jack says while grabbing my hand.

We all start walking when we hear a roaring engine. I turn around "hey look, there's a new guy" I say. They all turn around while the guy parks and takes off his shades. Damn, He was gorgeous in so many ways. "Come On we don't wanna be late for the ceremony" Jack says. "Y-yeah let's get going" I say.

We head into the building and go to the gym to hear about all the dumb things involved with highschool. I sit next to Jack as he lays his hand on my thigh drawing circles on the ripped parts of my jeans. "Hey Clara, there's that hot new guy." Ashlyn whispers in my ear.

I zone out for I don't know how long since I couldn't stop staring at him. God he's so.. mysterious. "Hello everyone, welcome back to St. Granite high!" The principal said. I sighed and looked over to where the mystery guy sat with his legs spread and head back already falling asleep.

I accidentally laughed really loud and everyone glanced at me, I felt a slight blush on my cheeks when the guy was one of them.

After the longest talk I've ever sat through, I went to my first class "what do you have?" Asked Jack. "Gym" I said frowning. "Lucky you, i have Spanish" he said. "This is more of a you thing, it's to early to do physical shit" I say causing him to laugh and kiss me on the lips. "I'll see ya later babe" he says walking away.

I head to gym and find my gym locker and throw on the T-shirt, shorts and running shoes. Everyone heads outside and I immediately see the hot mystery dude. I quickly lose balance and trip, what a great way to start the day...
