The next morning Shelly woke up and couldn't find Miss Midnight. She looked everywhere in the house. She went to go outside to look in the yard but when she tried to walk out the door there was an invisible wall on the other side of the door that she bumped into. She went to tell her parents about this but they weren't in their rooms. 'They must be at work' she thought to herself. Her siblings were sleeping and she didn't wake them up. When she looked out the window she saw the cars. They weren't driving, just staying where they were in the middle of the road! The drivers didn't move either. Then she noticed all the pedestrians were also still, so were the birds and the clouds! Then she heard a meow behind her. She turned around to see Miss Midnight had brought her something she was holding in her mouth. Shelly didn't check to see what it was but hugged Miss Midnight because she finally found her. The cat dropped what it was holding and Shelly looked at it. She was stunned, the cat had brought her an eyeball! She screamed but no one came. Shelly ran up to her sisters room, the horror in there terrified her even more than the eyeball. Her sister was scattered around the room in pieces! Her head was missing an eye. She ran to her brothers room to find him floating in mid air, well, his head was nowhere to be seen. The walls were covered in blood! Then she heard a faint meow behind her, that was her last memory before she literally exploded all over the hall.
