Attention (Barry Allen)

"Barry" I keep on repeating over and over again

Barry just keeps on humming a yes while looking at the computer typing things every few seconds

"Talk to me please." 

"Sorry, have to do something, talk later," Barry says still not looking at me and I sigh 

"Yeah, that's what you said two hours ago," I mumble and stand up 

"I'll be at STAR Labs hanging out with Cait and Cisco, call or text if you need me," I tell him and he slightly nods

"He's not paying attention to me anymore, barely even speaking to me and I really love him, I do and I just want to talk to him about it, but I can't if he's not listening," I tell Cisco and Caitlin. "I can't help but think I did something wrong." 

"I'm sure that's not it," Caitlin starts

"The guy couldn't stop talking about you yesterday, he loves you, he really does," Cisco states and looks behind you for a quick second before looking back to you and you raise your eyebrow at him

"Why did you look behind me?" I ask him and turn around to see Barry "Oh, that's why," 

"Can you two give us a minute?" Barry asks and Caitlin and Cisco and they nod before walking away 

"I heard everything before," Barry starts "And what Cisco and Cait said was right, you definitely didn't do something wrong. I was planning a surprise and when you left, I realized how stupid I was acting and I shouldn't have been ignoring you."

"Took a while for you to realize that for the fastest man alive, just saying," I tell him and he gives me a 'really?' look and I shrug 

"Anyway, I love you so much and I was hurting you by ignoring you and I hate myself for that." He says

"You should," I say and he gives me another look "Sorry, please talk, I won't interrupt you again." 

"Well, it seems like you're not as mad at me as I thought you would be." He says and I nod

I wait for him to say something else but he doesn't 

" I could never stay mad at you. I needed a minute or two to calm down." I tell him 

"You should, I treated you like shit for the whole day." He says 

"Yeah, you did, but I forgive you," I tell him "So what was the surprise?" 

With that Barry laughs a little and starts to tell me.
