Ashton’s Perspective:

Once I finish my time at the party I go back to the limo. When I get in I tell the driver to bring me to my hotel. I rub my eyes and notice the flowers I got for Ashley, just like she said they had died from the time I was in the party.

Becky’s Perspective:

I enter Ashley’s house surprised that she doesn’t have her door locked. I’ve barely been here in Toronto and I’ve already seen three alley drug deal through the taxi’s window and some druggies injecting drugs. It’s discussing.

I put my suitcase on her couch and notice she is lying in the middle of the floor behind the couch. Looks like she was on the way to the bathroom or something.

I walk beside her and look at her. I can’t believe she got drunk last night and past out. She’s still in her dress and her phone is on the floor, she must have dropped it when she passed out. Usually she’s good about these types of things.

I open the blinds in her living room so light shines on her. She still doesn’t move or wake up. She must have been pretty smashed. I walk back to her and then notice her hand is paler then normal. I bend down and push the hair lying in front of her face out of the way and fall down on my knees.

Her face is grained of color. Her eyes are open wide. They don’t move. I flip her body up. Her chest isn’t moving. I check her pulse. There isn’t one. I grab my phone and call 911.

“911, what’s the emergency?” The lady on the other end says.

“Hello, it’s my sister she’s not breathing.” I say hearing my voice trembling.

I give her the address and she tells me to do CPR until the people arrive. I do what she said and hear her rib bones crake. I continue anyway, by now I’m balling my eyes out. This can’t be happening.

People get to her house and try to wake her. I just wait for the words to drop and then they do, “I’m sorry it’s to late she’s gone. Don’t worry she didn’t feel any pain when it happened.”

They leave and I wait for someone else to pick up the body, “Drive safe.” I say and then start to close the door when someone’s are pushes on it.

He opens the door and I realize him from anywhere, Luke Hemmings. “Who are you? What’s happened? I was driving to the store and saw the ambulance what happened?”

“I don’t know.” I tell him.

He walks past me and see’s Ashley’s body lying on the ground, “Ashley?” He walks over to her and grabs her arms.

“You shouldn’t be touching the body.” I say and then by saying that I finally realize she’s gone. Ashley’s dead. Her life is now finished.

I clasp to the floor and cover my eyes from crying so hard. I feel his arms wrap around me. Why does this keep happening to me? Why do bad things always keep happen to me?

I feel a wet drop land on my shoulder and I look up to see Luke crying as well. I know they broke up but he must still care about her a lot. Then again anyone would be sad just knowing someone they knew and were once close to died.

I’ve now lost everyone, my mom, my dad, and now Ashley too? I can’t stop crying, I just sit there and cry.

Luke eventually leaves once I stop crying but gives me his number first saying I can call if need be. When finally stop crying the second time, shortly after the people come and pick up her body and take it away to see what it was that killed her.
